JAH'NICE
My alarm goes off almost scaring the shit out of me, I reach over grab my phone & turn it off. I turn to Julian my husband & shake him lightly.
" Get up babe " I say to him.
" give me five " He says turning over.
" We go through this every morning, when I get back if you ain't in that shower, I'm bringing the shower to you" I say crawling out of bed.
He smirks, and mumble something under his breath then gets up.
I go downstairs into Kain's room, & turn the light on, he immediately puts the pillow over his face.
" Come on get up boy, for I come over there" I say to him.
I walk over to Demetria room & open the door, she was already up sitting on the side of her bed biting her nails.
" Morning babygirl" I say walking over to her bed.
" Morning mom" She says.
" Nervous about your first day, back in school ?" I ask.
" Very, I'm just paranoid I guess" She says with a sly smile.
" Metri, I already told you you don't have to go you can continue homeschooling " I say to her.
" Mom, it's my senior year, I at least wanna make friends" she says.
" Okay, well get dressed, I'm gone get the twins up" I say kissing her forehead & heading down stairs.
Demetria was Diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder, when she was 11, and she gets out of character & paranoid when she is not on her meds, but she's normal when she is, doctors said it had something to do with drug use when she was being concieved, it messed up her brain, I kept her homeschooled all these years, trying to protect her from cruel kids, but it was her idea to go back for her and Kain's last year in school, so I agreed to it.
After I got everyone up, I went back into my room, did my hygiene thing and then got dressed. I came back down & everyone was dressed and ready sitting at the island eating cereal, I grabbed my bowl, spoon, cereal & milk and made some also.
" Yall ready for the first day back?" I ask everyone in general.
" Ma, please don't make me wear this dress daddy picked out" Joyce blurt out.
" You'll hurt daddys feelings, go pack a different outfit & change in school" I whisper.
She smiles heavy and run to her room.
Believe it or not Joyce ( Aka: Jo ) is a little tomboy, Julian just won't accept it, but I already know my baby girl gone be a lil stud when she gets older, it don't bother me, I just want her happy
" Ma, I'm about to head out, Metri you ready ?" Kain says.
" Yeah I'm ready" she says grabbing her bag. They both come over & kiss me on my cheeks and then leave
" Yall rea-... where Joyce ?" Julian says coming down the stairs.
" JO COME ON !"I holler out & she jogs over, they all kiss me and then the leave.
Back to being home alone until, school & work is over, summer why did you leave so soon?
KAIN
I walk through the school doors with my arm around my sister. Swear I feel like a celebrity, everybody dapping me up, saying wassup to me, even the geek's & people I don't know. I walk over to my table.
" Wassup Calvin " I said dapping him up.
Calvin was my best friend & partner in crime, I had other friends but me & him been rocking the longest.
" Wassup, Hey Demetria you come here now ?" he says to her.
" Umm, yeah, for my senior year" She responds.
" Oh okay, that's wassup " He says.
Calvin comes to my house all the time so he knows my family, he dont know about her condition though only family does.
" Yo was good, oh shit who this ?" One of my teammates says, referring to Demetria.
" My twin sis, I been told y'all ass I had a twin" I respond.
" Shit never knew she look like that though " He says winking at her. She blushes.
" Back the fuck up bro" I say to him, he laughs and moves round.
Me and Demetria call eachother twins cause we only a month apart, we know it's not physically possible our mother carried us both so we know we just have the same dad, we don't ask questions though cause it don't really matter to us. But to everyone not in the family we twins.
" Where yo schedule? " I ask Demetria.
" Here "she says pulling it out of her back pocket.
" Your first class is Mrs. Walker, I'll take you" I say giving it back to her.
I walk her there and tell her I'll meet her here after class to walk her to her next, then I jog to class.
DEMETRIA
Kain seems so popular, he's well known around here, I guess football does him well.
I take a seat in this class room, and take out some paper in a pencil.
You can do this Demetria, you went to regular school before, should'nt be hard.
Finally a familiar face walks in.
" Hey Demetria " Ashley, Kain's girlfriend says sitting next to me.
" Hey Ashley, I'm so glad your in this class" I say with a breath of relief.
" Girl I didn't know you was coming to school" She says.
" Just wanted to for my last year" I respond.
" Okay quiet, were about to start" The teacher says catching our attention.
Guess I'll have to get back use to teachers, hope they don't get on my nerves and I have to turn into Mu Mu on them, nobody likes her, luckily my meds keeps her away.
