I had just touched down in Miami, mother came into town to watch the kids for me. I got in the cab & went to Demetria house.
" Hey Julain, come in" Kyson says answering the door, after I knocked.
" Hey, where Metri ?" I question.
" She most likely at her Uncle house." He responds.
" I highly doubt that, what yall had a fight or something? " I question.
" Something like it " He says.
" What happened ?" I asked.
We sit down on the couch, & he spills everything out.
" She your best friend & all, but you know that ain't right " I say to him.
" Yeah I know, I'll make it up to her." He says.
" Your friend still here ?" I responds.
" No , she left lastnight, my homie came & got her." He responds.
" Oh okay" I respond yawning.
" You look rough man" Kyson says.
" Yeah I know, that's why I came to get my lady." I say, I look at him & study his face.
" You look about like me " I say laughing.
" I can't get no rest with out your daughter. " Kyson says chuckling.
" The Johnson women have that affect "I joked, but serious.
" I know what you mean" He says.
We continue to talk & laugh about things & then Metri walks through the door with Kain.
" Daddy ? What you doing in town?" She says giving me a tight hug.
" Came to get your mama" I say.
" She here too ?" She says looking confuesed.
" I'll explain to yall in a minute" I say looking at Kain who looked just as confused as Demetria.
" Well you ain't grown enough to stop hugging me yet, so come here" I say to Kain.
I hug my son, I look at Demetria & she was mugging the hell out of Kyson.
" Yall go talk, come on Kain" I said as we exit the house.

" I'm sorry, I was disrespectful at fuck, I was just feeling really sorry for her " I said breaking the silence.
" That was disrespectful Ky, but what really got me is that you stayed all day for your friend, but not for me, you always gone, and I just be sitting here, doing my school work, or on the phone " she says to me.
" School ?" I question.
" I do college online to get my business degree." She says folding her arms.
" Awe man, that's good bae, I didn't even know that" I respond.
" You never here Ky, & I be sleep when you come home. How can I tell you important stuff?" She says.
That shit just made me feel bad.
" I'm sorry, look I'm powering my phone off, I'm yours, come on let's talk" I say pulling her onto my lap.
