I couldn't believe the dumbass nigga sent his goons on me, but they ended up killing the wrong dude in a different car. I kept driving & driving until I reached an unmarked destination & pulled out my phone & called my dad.
" Dad, man the man tried to kill me & I can't reach Ashley anymore, I don't know where she is or what he doing to her." I said as soon as he answered.
" Aight, where you at? you safe?" He questions.
" I'm okay, I'm safe I think right now, but I can't stay here, I gotta go warn Ashley people." I say to him.
" Kain be careful, me & Junior gone be on the first flight, be CAREFUL son." My dad says. We exchange some words & then I hang up & press the gas for her father's house.
I get there & quickly get out & knock on the door.
" Kain come in " he says nearly snatching me in the house.
" He have her & he says I'll never see her again if I don't tell him where you are, I don't know what to do. I told him you wasn't here & I didn't know where you was, I sent my wife away to keep her safe, now I need to find Ashley " he says all in one breath.
" Mr.Gerald, I'm gone get her back, I promise I will, I got my dad & uncle on the way back right now we gone settle this shit once in for all." I respond.
" I'm coming too." He responds, we both get in my car & leave.

I sat at the food court with Maria eating & talking while we took a break from shopping.
" So wassup with you Maria, I never hear about your love life." I say to her.
" Girl, I got a son to take care off, fuck a love life." She says.
" How old is ? You've never mentioned him." I said.
" You've never asked, but his name is Mario, he is 3." She says.
" I wanna meet him, I love kids." I say in an awe tone.
" You can, well seat a date, your ready to check out Wet seal ?" She says.
" Yeah come on." I say grabbing my drink. We get half way there when I feel a tug on my shoulder.
" What Kyson ?" I say as he stands before me.
" Can we talk for a minute, won't take long." He says pulling me to the side. I hold up my finger indicating 1 minute for Maria.
" I wanna apologize for that night, I was drunk, & I didn't mean to disrespect you." He says.
I look at him & notices he's clean. He was dressed fresh, no bags under his eyes, fresh hair cut, & more shopping bags in his hands.
" Apology accepted." I respond.
" Look I.........wanna.....please can we go on a date tonight, it's some more things I need to get off my chest." He says.
" I can't I'm going back to Cali with my mom." I say to him.
" What ? Why ?" He says.
" Not for long Kyson, just so she'll have someone home while my daddy is away." I respond.
" Oh....okay, so can we go now ?" He asked.
" No, I'm with Maria." I respond.
