"Hey sis " I say hugging Nicey who was now back to her regular self.
" How you doing ?" She asked.
" Holding up, you know, glad yall can make it" I said to Julian and the twins.
Today would have been Jamela 1st birthday, but she died 2 months before, so we decided to have a family get together, my fam & Melanie 's. We didn't want it to be a sad occasion, so it was really just gonna be like a birthday party only the birthday girl wouldn't be here. We had a lil area outside with pictures candles and balloons for her.
Melanie didn't take Jamela death good at all, she didn't keep up with her self like she used to, she was losing weight & not going to work regularly. Jaycin was damnear scared to see her, b/c all she would do is talk about Jamela like Jaycin wasn't missing her already also, so I didn't take him over there as often.
" You gone be comfortable with Mel being here and all ?" I asked.
" Yeah, I'm fine, this is for Jamela." She says.
" Okay, well they should be coming soon." He says.
DEMETRIA
I worked part time at start bucks now , it was a decent job. I wasn't making nearly the same amount I was working with Kash though.
I walked up to another table without looking at faces to take their order.
" Hello I'm Demetria your waiter, can I take yall order ?" I said pulling out my notepad and pen.
" Hey Demetria " I hear a voice say.
I look up to see Kashmir, K'money, Lajan and K'money son.
" Hey, what would like ?" I said turning my attention to his sister
" Let me get a caramel latte & a bagel." She says.
" How about you Money ?" I asked.
" I'll take a hot coffee, no sugar no cream, and a new jersey original cheese cake." He says with a grin showing his grillz.
" & You ?" I say dryly to Kashmir.
" Chocolate cheese cake, and a Moca latte." He says.
" I'll be back shortly with your orders." I say walking away.
I go get their things ready and then gave it to them and then when back to my other orders.
We closed at 5 today & and Kash and his fam had gotten here at about 1:00 pm. Around closing everyone had left except Kash. After I clocked out I grabbed my purse and then headed for the door when Kash grabbed my arm.
" Can I please talk to you ?" He says.
" For what ? " I question.
" Because I need too, just please....sit in my car with me." He says.
" Let's make it fast I have to be with my fam." I say walking towards his passenger car side.
" Look I apologize for firing you that night, I been trying to get in touch with you ever since then but I don't know wassup with your phone, look your nigga.....he was right, I kinda did catch feelings and I thought you was feeling me too, but then outta know where you say yall back together, shit crushed me, so I spazzed. " He says.
" Are you slashing my tires ?" I question.
" Hell nahh, come on you know me better. " He says giving me a stale face.
