Niall

The plane ride was peaceful and calm so far. It's been about an hour and a half. I usually am asleep by now, but I am just too excited to see my family and friends. There's also a part of me that feels nervous. I don't know why. I usually feel this way when there is something about to happen. Something bad.

The silence feels quite nice though. It's much different than all the screaming fans or the loud music during the concert. I love our fans, but sometimes they scare me. Especially when they run after us and screaming at us. It's scary. Sometimes the fans crowd around us and it gets too small and I start having panic attacks. It's quite scary for me and the people who are there to see it. One of the boys, usually Harry, are always there to comfort me and help me to calm down. I'm so grateful and thankful for these boys. I probably wouldn't be here without them. They keep me going strong, especially through all of the hate I get. I seem to be getting the most right now though. It hits me the hardest, because it's so hard to not think about all those things. Are they true? I mean a lot of people are telling me the same things. That's got to make it true right? If enough people say it. The lads always tell me that they are not really fans unless they love all of us.

Somehow fans found out which airport we were going to land at. They also know Harry is with me. How do they find these things out? Is there like a secret camera that follows us? They are really dedicated. That's why our private plane is going on a different route this time, because Paul had told us the the airport would be full of fans when we get there. Our pilot told us that he knows of a smaller airport and it is not that far from the airport in Dublin.

So we decided to go that route instead. It should take about three hours or so to get there. I just stayed sitting down even after the lights turned off and the pilot told us we can move around.

Harry sat in the seat behind me so that he can spread his legs out across the other seats. I slowly found myself slipping into sleep. I was so tired from all of these concerts. They are so fun and always gives us the energy we need to show our fans on stage. Exhausted from the tour.

Harry's POV

Niall let me come back home with him to Ireland. I love Ireland so much. I always have fun when I am with Nialler. He makes everything that would be boring fun. His smile lights up everyone's mood. He just makes everything better. So carefree and positive, so I hate to see him sad after reading hate comments. There are times when he just sits for hours reading all the hate comments "fans" tell him. They are not really fans if they hate one of us. They either love all of us or none of us at all. I think that it's okay to like one of us a little more, like have a favorite. I think my favorite would be Niall. He's just always so happy and generous to his fans. He really cares about them.

Anyways, Niall and I are on our way back to Ireland, but we didn't take the normal route that planes usually take to the Dublin airport. They said that it would be easier this way, so we just agreed. I think mainly because Niall and I are both tired and just want to sleep.

It has been about two hours into the plane ride when I notice some lightning fall from the sky. I took my earplugs out and paused the movie I was watching to look outside. Another strike of light filled the sky, but this time it was much closer. I think it almost hit the wing of the plane! The whole plane started to to shake. I heard the thunder and it was loud. It sounded like it right next to us. This is starting to freak me out. I'm not stupid, I knew what this means. I've seen plenty of movies and they seem real, so I got really worried.

I looked over the seat to see Niall in a deep sleep. Not flinching when thunder once again sounded. The next strike of lightening was just outside his window and yeah that woke him up. "What?" He asks looking a bit confused. Alarms started to go off. The flight attendant had come up to us telling me to put on my seat belt. I did as told and reach over to put Niall's on, because he was still a little out of it. Then the oxygen masks came down and I didn't know what to do. Is this really happening? Out of all the planes, this one will be the one to crash. I'm so scared right now.

By this time Niall is fully awake and also freaking out. You can see in his eyes that he did not fully understand what was happening right now, but you could also tell that he was scared. More than scared, he was terrified. He has never really enjoyed plane rides and now I understand why.

"Niall, look at me. Niall!" I called out to him. He looked at me in the eyes and I see that he is crying, I don't blame him, that's what I wanted to do right now as well. But I need to stay strong and brave for Niall, for the both of us. "It's going to be okay! We are going to be fine, it's just a little storm. Nothing the plane can't handle" I gave him a reassuring smile. He seemed to calm down a bit.

So much for calming him down, because right when I told him that, the pilot spoke over the intercom, "This is your captain speaking. I am sorry to tell you that the storm is very strong. It doesn't help to be flying in a plane this small." He spoke out. Of course he had to say that, because now I have to try and clam Nialler down again, along with myself.

"Harry, are we going to die?" He asked through the oxygen mask we put on. I could barely hear him over the alarm.

"No, don't worry Ni. I'm going to protect you. Just hold on." I yell back, taking the oxygen mask off and the seat belt. Carefully coming around to sit next to him. Just as I was coming to comfort Niall, a very large portion of the back end tail had suddenly been ripped apart.

"HARRY!"
