That hair flip tho. lmao..alright I'll stop..lol

All of us staring at Eugene in disbelief. Well except for Abraham, whose face was full of anger. I helped Rosita to her feet, for she was knocked on the ground. "You are a scientist. I've seen the things that you can do." Rosita told Eugene. "I just know things." Eugene said. "You just 'know things'?" Glenn asked him. "I know that I'm smarter than most people, I know I'm a very good liar, and I know I needed to get to DC." Eugene explained. You got that right, Mr. Smart-Ass. "Why?" Maggie asked. Silence once again. "Because I do believe that locale holds the strongest possibility for survival, and I wanted to survive. If I could cheat some people into taking me there, well, I just reasoned I'd be doin' them a solid, too, considering the perilous state of the city of Houston, the state of everything." Eugene explained. He is right, but I don't appreciate the lying. And Abraham was ready to lunge at Eugene like a lion lunging at it's prey. Abraham crouched down to his knees, with his gun in his hand. "People died trying to get you here." Rosita snapped at Eugene. Glenn and Tara looked frustrated. I honestly didn't know how to react. "I'm aware of that, Stephanie, Warren, Pam, Rex, Roger, Josiah, Dirk, and Josephine. And Bob." Eugene listed. That's a hell lot of people. "You see, I lost my nerve as we grew closer, for I am a coward..and the reality of getting to our destination and disclosing the truth of the matter became some truly frightening shit. I took it upon myself to slow our roll" Eugene explained. I was kind of in shock for Eugene didn't seem like the guy to curse, but he was on the verge of crying. He felt bad and took responsibility. That is some brave shit right there. Eugene continued on. "Find time to finesse things so then when we got there..But at this moment I fully realize there are no longer any agreeable options. I was screwed either way" Damn I wanted to hug this man right here and now. I scooted myself closer to Abraham since he was looking up at Eugene. "I also lied about T.Brooks Ellis liking my hair. I do not know T.Brooks Ellis." Eugene said. Now I knew that was a downright lie. "But I did read one of his books, and he seemed like the type of guy that wouldn't blink twice at a Tennessee Top Hat. Again..I am smarter than you." Eugene added. This man was smart, maybe smarter than me at some cases. "Now you may want to leave me here-" Eugene was interrupted when Abraham got up and punched Eugene. "Abraham!" Tara screamed. "Get off of him!" I screeched as he punched Eugene against the fire truck. "No!" Abraham yelled as we tried to pull him away. He punched Eugene one last time before Eugene was knocked cold and fell to the ground. Glenn managed to pull him away but for only a second. "Oh my god.." Maggie and I mumbled. "No!" Glenn yelled as Abraham was walking back up to Eugene. Rosita ran in front of Abraham with her gun at ease. "Eugene?" Maggie called to him. I saw Abraham eventually walk off. Maggie and I flipped Eugene over. "Get up." Maggie said. "Look at me." I called to him. Eugene's face was battered and bloody from Abraham. "I think he managed to crack his head." I told her. "Shit." Maggie mumbled as Tara and Rosita came to us. "Oh my god." Tara and Rosita mumbled once they saw Eugene's battered face. "Eugene, are you there?" I called to him as I waved my hand at his face. Tara checked for a pulse as I yelled for him again. There was no use for Eugene's eyes slowly shut closed. "He's still alive. But knocked out cold." I announced. The others sighed in relief. "Well how is he?" Glenn asked. "Abraham managed to crack his head a bit but he is knocked cold. If Abraham would've kept punching him then he would be dead. Thanks, Glenn." I informed him since Glenn was the one who managed to pull Abraham away. "No biggie." He told me. I took a cloth from my bag and began wiping the blood off of Eugene.
