I sat in my chair in our house, with my knees against my chest. These hormones weren't helping whatsoever. Suddenly a knock on my door stirred me out of my thoughts. I opened the door and was greeted by Rick. "Hey, Ashley." Rick greeted me. "Hey, Rick." I greeted him as I whiped my tears away. "We are going to the Hilltop. Gather up to fight against the Saviors and save your husband." Rick explained to me. I nodded. "I know of your pregnancy, by the way. Eugene told me." Rick added. Oh that big goof, can't even keep a secret. I chuckled. I nodded again. "Didn't y'all have protection?" Rick asked. "Yes. But it was old and messed up. Teared up." I explained to Rick. "Oh. Sorry." Rick said. "It's okay. Shit happens, especially in a shitty world." I reminded Rick. He smiled at me and led me out of the house. We went into one of our viechles and drove to the Hilltop. As we parked, we walked towards the gates as they slowly opened. The first person we were greeted by was Maggie. We all hugged and greeted each other. Maggie went to me and we both hugged. She then started looking for Eugene. "Where's Eugene?" She asked me. I sighed deeply. "The Saviors took him." I explained. "And we are going to get him back." Rick added. I smiled at him and we smiled back. I heard someone pull in from the back and pry themselves through the gates. I turned around. Coming from behind a house was Jesus and..Daryl. I ran up to Daryl and jumped into his arms. He chuckled at my surprisement as he held back. I released and looked over at Jesus. And then I hugged him. He held back. I knew he had helped get my brother out of there. I released as everyone walked to where I was. Rick's eyes lit up as he saw Daryl. They both hugged tightly. Daryl was doing the same to the others. After that, Daryl grabbed something from his back pocket and was handing it over to Rick. It was Rick's colt python. "So, what are we going to do?" I asked Rick. Rick turned to me and the others. "We are going to let the Saviors know, that they are fucking with the wrong people." Rick said as we marched our way up the Hilltop.
