Abraham started the engine and we were off. But we stopped after a while. Eugene was looking at the map talking to the others while I dozed off. Like it was your last day on earth. That savior's words echoed in my head. It was driving me insane. My thoughts were interrupted when a walker was banging against the RV. Abraham got up to the driver's seat and started the engine. "You okay?" Eugene asked me. I looked at him. I shrugged my shoulders. "Just thinking." I told him. Eugene got up and sat next to me. "About what?" He asked. "Nothing important." I lied. I didn't want to worry more my husband than he already is. "You're lying." Eugene said. Eugene wrapped his arm around me and brought me close. "What's wrong?" He asked as he leaned his chin on my head. I sighed. "Just thinking on what that Savior said about it being our last day on earth." I told him. Eugene then sighed. "If it is, then I'll spend it with my family and beautiful wife." Eugene told me. I blushed and almost began tearing up. Eugene kissed my head. I then leaned up and we both kissed for a second. As we came around the corner, we saw more Saviors, blocking the road. We stood up to get a better look. "Bitch nuts." Abraham called out as he stopped the RV. "We making our stand?" Sasha asked Rick. "Yeah, we end it." Carl announced. Last day on earth. The same annoying Savior voice repeated in my head. I shook it off. "No, not now. They've been waiting. They're ready. With one of us behind the wheel, that's five on sixteen. We're gonna play it our way, how we want it. Right?" Rick finished off to questioning his son. "Right." Carl agreed. We all nodded in response. "All right, go slow." Rick commanded to Abraham. Abraham began backing up slowly. A savior shot a few bullets in the air. Abraham turned around and we were leaving. "How are we on gas?" Rick asked Abraham. "Half a tank. I pulled some more cans before we left." Abraham answered. "Those weren't the same men who blocked the road the first time." Sasha mentioned. "Same outfit, different soldiers." I announced. Everyone nodded at my comment. "They got numbers." Abraham said. "Yeah, we keep driving, we get her there." Rick announced, "We will." Sasha said. "If we have to shove each and one of them up their own asses." Abraham mentioned. "Amen, Abraham." I said as I high-fived him from behind. But Abraham stopped the RV once again. I looked and saw walkers. "We can't go through it. We can't risk the RV. You stay behind the wheel." Rick commanded Abraham. "We'll clear it." He added. I got my gun and walked out with Rick. The others did as well. There were a couple of walkers in chains. We looked over the hills to see if there were any saviors around. "Putting together a red rover like that takes people." Eugene mentioned. "You're right." I added. "A lot of them." He added as well. We were all confused on what the hell is going on. "Come on, let's do this." Rick announced. "Dad." Carl called to Rick. "That's Michonne's." Aaron said as he looked at a walker. We looked at a walker and there was a piece of Michonne's hair stuck to the walker's head. "And that's Daryl's." Sasha pointed out. We looked at the walker next to the one with Michonne's hair. There was a walker with an arrow going through it and dark clothing on. I started getting tensed up. It then came to a realization. Rick was about to swing at the walkers with his ax when there was gunfire. "Get back to the RV! Go!" Rick screamed at us. All of us ran back into the RV. I was scared out of my mind. Last day on earth. Why won't that intimidating voice go away?! Rick quickly cleared the area, along with the help of Sasha and Abraham, and ran back into the RV. Abraham started the RV and we drove away as fast as we could. As we drove more and more, the realization came clear. The saviors have taken Daryl and Michonne. I was scared and upset the more I thought of it. I felt arms wrap around me. Eugene. I hugged back. "You're scared." He said. "I know." I said. "It's okay, 'cause I'm scared too." Eugene told me. The RV started squeaking. "What's that sound?" Sasha asked. "Undercarriage could've caught a bullet. Or could be transmission. It could be nothing." Eugene listed. I noticed Rick was looking at the piece of hair from the walker he ripped off. "They were firing at our feet." Rick reminded us. He is right. The RV continued to make that same squeaking noise. "They blocked the road, but they weren't trying to stop us. They want us in this direction." Rick explained. "Barton Road, takes us north, but they gotta know we wanna go north." Sasha informed us. "Meadows. Could take us east a piece, but we can get back on track Mayhew." Eugene pointed out on the map. "We're down to a third of a tank. We could top off the next stop, but no refills after that." I suggested. "All right." Rick said. "She's burning up." Aaron said referring to Maggie. I felt my stomach drop. No. I cannot lose Maggie after we lost Tara. The RV squealed again. Rick and I looked to the side and found scars where the tables were at. "Rick." Abraham called to Rick. We then saw more Saviors. But more than last time. Trucks everywhere and saviors at every which way. Abraham stopped the RV, again. "Go back." Rick commanded. "Back where?" Abraham asked. It was silent for what seemed like forever. Eugene and I were wrapped in each other's arms. We ended up backing up and driving off. Rick went to check on Maggie. I was so scared for Maggie for she was very sick and pregnant. I felt tears stroll down my face. "She's going to be okay, honey." Eugene told me as he sat down next to me. I didn't say anything. "I have a feeling she will be." Eugene said as he stroked my hair in comfort. I held his hand. "I believe you, ya big goof." I told him and everyone chuckled. Eugene leaned in and kissed my cheek.
