PEETA'S POV:

I wake up to the sound of my 3 year old daughter Willow screaming. So I carefully move my wife, Katniss's arm from around my body and get out of bed. I race into Willow's bedroom next door and see her on the floor next to her bed still screaming. I run over to her and pick her up, she wakes up and starts crying into my shoulder.

"What's wrong, sweetie?" I ask.

She answers "I had a bad dream, Daddy! Can I come sleep with you and mummy?"

"Baby," I say to her "you know that you can't sleep in the same bed as mummy in case she has a bad dream and hurts you without meaning to, but, if you want I'll sleep in your bed with you."

She doesn't say anything but just nods her head, so I move her blanket to the foot of the bed and climb into it still holding her. She wraps her arms around me and is asleep in a few minutes. After she's been asleep for about 10 minutes, I finally close my eyes. Just as I'm falling asleep, I hear someone running down the hall and the bathroom door slams shut, I remove myself from my daughter's grip and race to Katniss. When I get there she is vomiting into the toilet just as I expected she would be. She's been throwing up nearly every night this week because of her pregnancy with our second child.

I kneel down next to her and hold her hair out of her face as she continues to throw up. Then, Willow comes in and sits down next to me and whispers

"What's wrong with mummy?"

I quickly grab a towel that is hung over the side of the bath and wrap it around Katniss's shoulders so that it is over her hair keeping it out of the way. Then, I pick Willow up and take her back to her room.

"Sweetie, mummy is going to be bringing us all a wonderful present, but, before she can give it to us she has to do some yucky things like vomit. Mummy and I will tell you more in the morning when Mummy is feeling better, okay?" I tell her.

"Okay Daddy" she says "but I don't think I can get back to sleep, can you sing to me?"

"Alright," I answer "but you know that Mummy is the good singer in this family!"

We both laugh as I put her in her bed and tuck her in. Then I start to sing the only lullaby that Willow has ever heard,

"Deep in the meadow, under the willow, a bed of grass, a soft green pillow, lay down your head and close your sleepy eyes, and when again they open the sun will rise, here it's safe, here it's warm, here the daisies guard you from every harm, here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true, here is the place where----"

"I love you" Katniss sings from behind me.
