Please read Authors note at the end! It's important!

(Jasmine's POV)

Jasmine had never driven as fast as she did that afternoon. She was sure she had almost ran over at least two old women who are taking their sweet damn time to cross the street.

Stop lights be damned! They were only there to oppose her from getting to her target...Killian.

Never in her life had something seemed so impossible to obtain. All she wanted was to get Killian to let him know how she felt, how she had always felt, how she had felt since she was a child. All she wanted was him.

All that being said, pulling up into his driveway left her with the bitter sweet sensation. What are their new discovery made him feel differently about her?

She came to the realization  that she didn't care, she would never know if she didn't ask. All she had to do was now was will her legs to get out of the car and walk over to his front door. It seemed so far away.

Taking a deep breath, she hopped up the stairs. Her arm already in the air ready to knock. Before she got in a single movement, the door swung open. On the other side of the door was Killian.

His hair an unruly mess, his chest naked on display for anyone and everyone to see. His jeans hung low at the waist, forming that infamous V that got many girls in trouble. He was barefoot and his arms hung down at his side as if he had no strength to even raise them up. His mouth was open, inhaling deep breath's as if he had been running for hours.

His eyes trailed up Jasmine's body once...twice...three times. He wanted to make sure she was actually there, that she wouldn't disappear like she had so many times in his dreams. He wanted to make sure that she was real. That she wouldn't disappear in a puff of smoke the moment he realize that morning had come, it was now time to stop dreaming.

Killian's hand raised in the air, he didn't move and neither did Jasmine. His fingers reached out towards her hair.

She was real.

Jasmine's hands tremble as they reached up for his own. Her fingers touched his cold ones. That was not how she remembered him. He was warm. He reminded her of a camp fire. Sitting close enough to feel his heat, but not so close that you were burning hot. No...he was comfortably warm.

Why wasn't he warm?

She made a decision as she grabbed onto his hand. From then on, she would be his warmth, as he had been hers before. Never again would his hands be cold, because hers would be by in his. They would never again be vacant.

Killian's eyes closed. He took a deep breath, feeling his racing heart slow down. He missed this, he missed the calming sensation that had been replaced by the uneasy feeling. It had taken up residence in his chest since Jasmine had left.

For a long time Killiam thought that that feeling would become a part of himself. That with enough time, he would become accustomed to it and one day he would wake up and wouldn't feel it anymore. But now, looking at Jasmine, looking into your beautiful blue eyes, he knew that, that would never have happened.

She smiled and he was certain that forgetting her wasn't something he would be able to do. She was his. She had been his from the moment she made those unladylike advances towards him. She was his since the moment her mother brought her to his house when they were children.

Yes...from that moment on, she belonged to him and he to her.

"I missed you" were the first words that left Jasmine's mouth. Her face being buried in his chest once he had pulled her into him. The familiar scent of him took over her body, filling her nostrils.

"And I you." Killian said, knowing that never again would they have a bad day, so long as they were together.

(Author's Note)

I hope you all enjoyed

I am both happy and sad to say that this will be the last chapter in this story. There will be a second book. I just need some time to get everything prepared.

I'm so sorry I took forever to update and yes, I am aware that it's short chapter. So you don't need to all tell me. I'm aware, I wrote it.

I'm not sure if I'm going to write an epilogue. Mostly because the second-story will pick up either right after this one or somewhere in the middle of this one.

It will focus on Aspin and Cage, Who have history going way back. The reason why I'm not sure about the epilogue, is because Jasmine and Killian will still be very important characters.

That being said, I may finish "My Best Friend's Boyfriend" (title of the second book) and go back and write an epologue. I'm not sure yet, I'll figure it out sooner or later

Please let me know your thoughts and feelings about all this.

But yeah, I think that's it. I hope you all had a merry Christmas, and a great new year. I hope that if you guys have resolutions, you get to complete them. I hope that this year is even better than the last, despite all the hatred that is being spewed by certain people if you know what I mean.

Soooo yeah

I love you all
