A/N: before I start the chapter, I want to say a few things. First off...THANK YOU!!!! To everyone who has voted and given me their support and love...thank you! I love you all so much, you guys can't even understand. But the real reason I wanted to put this authors note, is because of ignorant people who can't be civil, well mannered, humans. I'm tired of people's stupidity! I really am. I have gone back and read many comments and I am fully aware that this is just a book, with fictional characters...but I'm also aware that slut shaming young girls is very serious and that is what's being done to Jasmine.

So why don't we all go back to kindergarten and remember the golden rule: if you have nothing nice to say, then keep you fucking mouth shut. Or something like that. Seriously, if you want to slut shame and be immature little shits, that's fine. I'm not going to judge you, because who the fuck am I to do that? If you want to be stupid, that fine, but go do it somewhere else

I'm sorry if this seems aggressive. If you've been reading my books for a while, you guys know that I'm not like that, but I really am tired of people's immaturity. I really am.

Anyways

Now, to the story:

~

Going back outside was more difficult than Jasmine thought it would be. Everyone was smiling and laughing, having the best time of their lives. Jasmine on the other hand felt like shit

Killian had sat back down in the same seat he had previously, only now he didn't look as hopeful as before. He looked sad and it was all Jasmine's fault

"Here you are papá" Jasmine said quietly, setting down the other two bowls of thick liquid that was meant for the salad

"Thank you" he smiled, looking up from the beautiful woman in front of him

He was smiling so big that it reached his eyes and you were able to see that small dimples that formed only when his mouth moved a certain way

Jasmine couldn't remember the last time she saw those dimples for anyone that wasn't her

Their eyes remained locked, as Jasmine saw the man who so lovingly raised her all by himself. Who allowed her to crawl into his bed when she was scared, as a child. The man who demanded that Sundays be family night. That was her dad

"What?" He asked, still smiling

Jasmine took a deep breath and bowed her head, shaking it

"Nothing papá, I love you" she smiled, blinking away the small tears that had formed in her eyes

Renoldo reached out and took her hand in his, bringing it up to his mouth and kissing her knuckles softly. Then pulling her down, next to him

He didn't say it back, but Jasmine knew exactly how much her father loved her

How much he would give for her

When Jasmine looked up from her hand that we're sitting in her lap, she realized two things. One: that Killian was staring at her and two: he was saying goodbye

There was something in his eyes that told her that he was done. That he understood that what they had was never meant to be serious, and that what was happening between the two of them, was destructive
