Jasmine was so curious to see what she would find as Killian stood at his front door, messing with the lock and key. She imagined everything to be colorful and full of life and excitement. What she found, wasn't at all what she expected

As Jasmine took a step into the large condo, she tried to take as much in as she could. Everything was so....white

The house was beautiful, yet reminded Jasmine so much of a hospital. Everything seemed cold, technical, calculated, and sterile. There was no emotion anywhere, no story.

No pictures, no colors, no smell. Everything was blank

Jasmine couldn't help but wonder if Killian actually came home to this empty and soulless building everyday, all by himself

She couldn't imagine it. She couldn't imagine Killian sitting on his couch...alone, with no one to spend his time with. It just didn't make any sense to her

Now that she thought about it, none of it made any sense

Killian was a grown man, obviously handsome. He was successful, with money, a good heart, and a charming personality. He was perfect! Yet single

Why?

What was wrong with him? What had he done for woman to steer clear of him?

"Want something to drink?" He asked, taking off his tie and throwing it on the couch

Jasmine smiled

"Tea would be nice" she replied, hugging the jacket that he had draped over her shoulders, closer to her small body

"Honey?" He asked, walking over to her, as he set his large hands over her waist

"Please" she said, kissing the palm of his hand, when he softly caressed her cheek

"Coming right up. Make yourself at home" he called out to her, as he walked over to the kitchen and got out a black mug

She mumbled an incoherent reply and continue to walk around, looking at the blank halls of his apartment. She came to the living room. In the center there was a coffee table surrounded by black leather couches. In front a blank wall, sat a large flat screen TV. Underneath, was a wooden stand that held what look like DVDs, neatly organized

From what Jasmine could see, everything was...clean. If Killian hadn't been in the kitchen, making noises as he stirred the metallic spoon against the glass mug, Jasmine would've sworn that that house was untouched. That no one lives there, that no one had ever set foot in it. There was no trace of an actual human being, living there

"Tell me again...do you have any siblings?" Jasmine asked, taking a seat on the comfortable couch and look back at Killian as he poured honey into her mug

Killian looked up and smiled

"Yeah...a little brother. We aren't too close" he said, looking between the mugs and Jasmine's curious face

She nodded and kicked her heels off

Killian chuckled and slowly walked over to Jasmine's, handing her the hot mug

"Thank you" she smiled

He nodded his head and set down the honey in front of her

"I didn't know how sweet you liked it"

Jasmine's took a sip, burning her tongue in the process, but nodded, ignoring the sting

"It's perfect" she said, looking up at Killian, who devoured her with his eyes

A comfortable silence fell between them, as Killian pulled her smooth legs over his lap, tracing small circles on her skin, as Jasmine ran her fingernails up-and-down his scalp softly
