Chapter 2

CLAIRE'S POV:

It's been a little over two weeks since Als (my nickname for Allison) got the call about joining the Magcon Summer Tour. Which means our parents have put up with us freaking out over the tour for two weeks. They're the real MVPs in this. I honestly felt sorry for them, due to the fact that they had to hear about Magcon 24/7 now, but it was so hard to not talk about it. It was honestly the only thing on my mind anymore. We've had everything all packed for over a week and we leave tomorrow, meaning we'll get there two days earlier than needed. Bart asked if we would be willing to come early to surprise the guys and get to see the last meet and greet of the old Magcon Tour, so we could learn the ropes. Sadly, Taylor and Carter couldn't participate in the summer tour because they had too many conflicts with the schedule.

Allison and I both agreed to going early. Als liked to be prepared for everything and plan ahead, so the meet and greet was the perfect opportunity for her to understand exactly what would happen. Plus, there was the whole thing of she would get to meet Matthew Lee Espinosa, her idol and obsession and partial reason we started Vine and YouTube. I had wanted to get on tour earlier to get see how the meet and greet works, but also be able to see how the boys really acted towards their fans and experience the tour from the side of a fan and later experience it as a member.

I could tell Allison was beyond excited. I swear, she looked like some five year old who drank their mom's coffee. I mean, I don't think she's slept in like three days. The thought of meeting Matthew is a momentous occasion for her. To think, she might even get to become friends with him, which for her would be a dream come true. But she's also been freaking out about completely embarrassing herself, and in all honesty, I love her, but she probably will end up doing something stupid. But I'm sure Matthew won't care; he does stupid stuff in his videos all the time! Plus, I'm sure she wouldn't be the first fan to be completely awkward, and Als has a certain lovableness that accompanies her awkwardness. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Matthew's videos, they're funny, but he isn't my favorite Viner (Allison would probably hurt me if he was). That honor goes to Nash. His eyes are amazing and he is so funny and adorable.

*THE NEXT DAY*

The tickets we received to fly out were for the ungodly hour known as 6:00 a.m. We just gotten on our flight and I was already exhausted. We were now officially on our way to the Magcon Summer Tour! Allison and I were excited and extremely lucky to have an opportunity like this! Our parents were even more excited than we were because they could finally have some peace and quiet. We promised to call and text as often as we could and we would make sure to bring back some souvenirs.

Neither Als or I could really wrap our head around everything in our lives that had changed for us in the past couple of months. I honestly couldn't believe it! I still thought of myself as an awkward girl from Iowa who didn't have any plans past high school figured out. But now, now we were going on tour to meet our fans! People who made us famous simply for being us, and I was so thankful for each and every one of them everyday. While I was excited for the tour, it was also only 6:00 am. Plus, I figured we probably wouldn't be getting a ton of sleep on this tour, much to my distaste. Since neither Als or I are morning people, once the plane took off we were both out cold within 10 minutes.

ALLISON'S POV:
I woke up about halfway through the plane ride and look to my left. Of course Claire was still sleeping. That child loved sleep more than I did, and that was saying something. I have made the mistake of trying to wake up a sleeping Claire before. It didn't really end well...not that I'm much better about it. I wanted to be able to tour the country as a breathing human and not a corpse, so I decided to not wake her up. That meant I still had two hours and I needed to find something to do. I grabbed my new iPhone out of my carry-on bag and decided to go on tumblr and twitter. As creepy as it sounded, I found it fun to stalk my fans on Twitter. It was amazing to see how we had impacted their lives and how things where they were from were different from things in Iowa. Before I knew it, we were about to land. I decided to wake up Claire, and to my surprise, she didn't even hit me. As soon as she was awake the two of us started fangirling about the adventures we were going to have this summer.

*At Magcon Meet and Greet*

We walked into the hotel and met up with Bart by the front desk. I was beyond excited and I was having to take deep breaths to prevent fangirling.

"So you must be Allison Morgen and Claire Klopreth," Bart greeted us.

Claire smiled and stuck out her hand for him to shake. "Yeah, that's us. I'm Claire and that's Allison."

I greeted Bart with a simple handshake as well. Bart gave us a quick run-down of what all of the boys were doing right now and apologized for them not all being able to greet us and see our surprise arrival all at once. I was okay with that though. It was honestly the best experience to just be here and meeting Bart and the boys.

"It's really great to meet you. Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity," I said with a smile before gesturing to our luggage. "Anywhere we can put these by chance before heading into the meet and greet? Don't get me wrong, I love my fans and I'm excited to meet the boys and all, but I don't really need them being able to dig through my luggage and see what underwear I prefer."

Bart let out a laugh before replying, "Absolutely. Claire, you're in room 327. Allison, that means you're in room 329."

"Got it. Thanks."

We grabbed the room keys and VIP Magcon passes that Bart held out to us. As Bart walked off back into the convention center, Claire and I looked at each other before sprinting up the stairs to our rooms and throwing our bags on the nearest beds. We quickly slammed the doors and raced each other back down the stairs to the meet and greet.

We got down to where the Magcon convention was being held and it was absolutely crazy! There were so many people wanting to meet these guys, and even a few who recognized us as The MACK Girls. It was so sweet that some of them wanted to take pictures Claire and I and wanted us to sign stuff for them. We got into Matthew's line first, since Claire knew I was dying to meet him. I noticed that she kept looking at Nash's line, so I promised that we would go there next. Before we knew it, we were staring at the face of Matthew Espinosa. I was freaking out internally because I was seconds away from meeting my idol. Instead of smiling like you would think he would, he just stared at us expectantly. So I decided to start talking since it didn't look like he would any time soon.
