Chapter 1

ALLISON'S POV:

*2 months before*

        Claire and Allison @mack_girls: Wow! Over 1 million followers! Thank you guys so much! This is unbelievable! Love you all!😘

        It was hard to believe how quickly things had changed for my best friend and I in such a short amount of time. Claire and I had just started making Vines and YouTube videos for fun a few months ago, and now, we had over one million followers and subscribers. It was truly unbelievable and I was still extremely awkward when I met fans out on the streets. Half the time I had to look around to make sure they were talking to me. But Claire and I have the greatest fan base out there. They encourage our weirdness and awkwardness and build up our confidence in ourselves, just like we build up theirs. I've learned so much from my fans and I wouldn't trade it for anything. It was crazy how much things had changed for us in the past few months, but I wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world. Claire and I were still the same people, obviously, but I went from being a nobody with my close group of school friends to someone who strangers wanted autographs and pictures from. It was weird, but in the best possible way.

       At the moment the call came, Claire and I were in the middle of filming another YouTube video. Before we became "famous," I was a huge Matthew Espinosa fan. I still loved him actually. I flipped out when he followed me during a following spree, and his videos made me smile, even on my worst days. Before we had a ton of subscribers, Claire had filmed me -without my knowledge- freaking out over everything I loved about Matthew. Our fans loved the video and it became a hit. It soon became something that our fans began to request and every once in a while we would make a video about Matt and whatever Viner or Youtuber Claire was obsessesed with at the time to keep the fans happy. I'll admit that it was a little embarrassing and I prayed that Matthew hadn't seen our videos. We were in the middle of filming another Matthew Espinosa Freakout for YouTube and it was actually turning out decently. I had only laughed in the middle of the take five times, which for me, was almost unheard of.

        We were just about to finish the last bit of the video, where we gave announcements and gave some advice or answered questions, when there was a slight interruption. My phone started blasting Strong by One Direction at full volume, signaling that someone was calling me. I glanced at the phone and saw that the number was unknown. Claire and I joked around a lot, but when it came to talking on the phone to strangers, neither one of us really possessed any talent in that field. I couldn't even talk to adults that I knew on the phone without seeming that I didn't posses the ability to form coherent sentences. Plus, you never know who an unknown number could be, so I signaled Claire over to be my witness in case some rapist/murderer was calling me. I put the phone on speaker so both of us could hear and accepted the call.

        "Hello?" I answered cautiously.

        "Hello. Is this Allison Morgen and/or Claire Klopreth from The MACK Girls?" the unknown number questioned.

        "That depends on who is calling and if you're tracking our call," Claire answered.

        I smacked her before answering, "Both of us are presently speaking. May I ask who this is and what your business with calling us is?"

        I cringed at how formal I sounded and I could tell Claire was holding back a laugh.

       "This is Bart and I am in charge of the Magcon tour. This summer we have decided to rent two tour buses and spend the majority of this summer touring across the U.S. In order to met fans in smaller towns as well as big cities.Magcon would love to have you girls along for the ride, so would you girls be interested in joining the Magcon Summer Tour?"

        I was shocked. I didn't even know what to say. This was a dream come true for Claire and I. We had been wanting to meet fans that weren't from Iowa, the state we lived in. We loved our homebase fans, but we had never been offered the opportunity to get to meet our fans from other areas. I was currently in dreamland and completely and utterly speechless over this. Of course I wanted to go on the tour, but I seemed to be unable to process the offer and getting any words to come out. I looked at Claire and nodded my head excitedly, still not fully believing what was happening. Before I could collect my thoughts and say anything, Claire answered for both of us.

        "Sir, we'd be honored to join Magcon. Thank you so much for this opportunity! We won't let you down!"

        After that, we handed the phone off to my parents, who talked to Bart for hours. They were slightly overprotective and I was their baby. Then, we gave Bart the number for Claire's parents and waited anxiously to see if we would be able to live our dream of meeting the people who had completely changed our lives. Soon, everything was all set. The MACK Girls were joining the Magcon Summer Tour and we couldn't be more thrilled. Immediately Claire and I made a Vine about it and made sure to tweet about it as well. We finished our YouTube video and included our news in the announcements. It was important to is that we kept our fans in the loop about our (not so) exciting lives.

        There was only one downside to us joining the Magcon Summer Tour though...

      The MACK Girls would be the only girls and we were in separate rooms and separate tour buses. Our parents thought that it would be a good opportunity for us to "branch out" and "make new friends" and Bart felt that it would be a great way for us to become a part of the Magcon family dynamic faster. Obviously our parents and Bart don't speak teenage girl because we do everything in pairs. These boys have known each other for months now, and we're the new "family" members. I just hope that they won't completely hate us. That would be terrible considering the fact that Claire and I had to be separated. Oh my gosh! What if Matthew ends up hating me? I don't know what I'd do... I hoped that Claire and I would enjoy ourselves but that wasn't something that could be guaranteed. And due to our awkwardness and weirdness and our separation, only one thing about this tour was certain:

        Those boys were going to eat Claire and I alive.
