Chapter 20

ALLISON'S POV:
This was it. I was going to go on my first date with Matt tonight and I was honestly a little bit nervous. CK came over to our room after Matt left to make sure everything was going to go according to plan tonight. She walked into the room to find me laying on the bed.

"You're going to love your date!" She squealed.

"Okay, well how am I going to want to dress?" I asked.

"Well, you want to look cute, but still be somewhat comfortable. So no skirts or dresses."

I sighed. "Well I'm not going to look very impressive in this first date. I was going to use the fact that he hasn't seen me in a dress yet as an advantage. He's probably going to find some cuter girl while we are on our date."

Claire rolled her eyes in return. "Please, Als, that boy is absolutely crazy about you. If you can't see that then you are just plain crazy."

Together, Claire and I managed to come up with a cute, yet comfortable outfit for my date. I had on a pair of patterned shorts with a plain colored v-neck and some Vans. I put my hair in a ponytail and then curled it and stuck a hair bow in my hair to finish the look. I then did my usual makeup of eyeliner and mascara with some lip gloss. I hoped that I looked good enough to be Matt Espinosa's girlfriend.

"How much time do I have?" I asked Claire.

"Well I forgot that it doesn't take you that long to get ready so you have like two hours."

I sighed. "That's so long to wait!"

Claire just smiled. "But hopefully it'll be worth it."

I went over to the mirror in the hotel room and took a picture of my outfit. I uploaded it to Instagram with the caption "First date with @MatthewEspinosa 😊😘" I smiled as comments poured in. I was surprised that most of them were nice, like over half of them. Before I started dating Matt, there was equal amounts of hate and nice comments about anything I did. I smiled even wider when I got a new notification. Matt liked my photo and commented: "Everyone it's official. I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world. Don't you agree? 😍"

"What are you all giddy about?" CK asked, noticing that I was sitting on my bed, smiling at my phone.

I showed her the picture and Matt's comment.

"You two are so cute together, it makes me sick. Like can you spread that cuteness around to other couples so that some people can actually hate you two for being in a relationship?"

I laughed. "Wow CK, I see you have a great outlook on our relationship."

She winked. "You know it."

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. I glanced down at my phone and saw that it had been two hours already. I had been creeping on fans on Instagram for two hours?! Wow, I'm a total stalker. I ran over to the door and answered it, revealing Matt, and damn was he looking nice.

MATTHEW'S POV:
I had left our room to go and run over the final plans with Shawn and to allow Claire to help Allison get ready. I was also kind of freaking out a little bit about the date. I really wanted to impress Allison. I had never been this nervous to go on a date before and I was psyching myself out.

"Dude, chill out," Shawn told me, snapping me out of my thoughts. "She already agreed to be your girl. That was the hardest part. Now you just have to go out and enjoy yourself."

I took a deep breath. "Thanks, man. You're right. Everything is going to be fine."

"What about the fans?"

I shrugged. "Allison loves her fans and I love mine. It's no big deal if they want a picture or something."

After going over a few more details with Shawn, I was set. All that I had left to do was get ready. I wanted to look nice for her, but not seem like I was trying to hard. I settled on some cargo shorts and a button up shirt that had the sleeves rolled up. I was about to do my hair again when I noticed that I still had an hour before I was going to get Allison. I went on Instagram and saw that she had posted a picture of her outfit. She was absolutely gorgeous, anyone who didn't think that had to be crazy. I commented: "Everyone it's official. I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world. Don't you agree?😍" I laughed as the fans started commenting about how cute we were together and all the feels they were getting. After stalking some people on Instagram, I decided to finish getting ready. I slipped on some Vans, redid my hair, grabbed my phone, and I was set. I glanced at the clock and realized that it was about time to go get Allison. I walked over to the door and was about to step out when Shawn spoke.
