Chapter 18: Surprise Surprise

I walked down the stairs to find Max.He was siting on the couch watching an American program. I went into the kitchen and got some water. I took a sip before walking over to Max.I sat down and started watching the program. "Sup sis"Max said "noting much"I said. The door bell rang and I went to answer. I opened the door and froze. "Who is it Kyra"Max asked. I didn't answer and shut the door. He rang it again and Max opened it.He pushed Max aside and grabbed me.His tight grip was hurting me. "Let go Sam"I cried "You left me to suffer"He said punching me in the nose. Max was trying to make him let go but wasn't working. I was screaming as it was getting tighter.Tears were rushing out of my eyes. I saw Nathan rushing over to Sam to make him let go. "Let her go"Max snapped "Shut up pop star"Sam snapped back. Tom came over and punched Sam in the face. He let go of my arm to cradle his nose.I ran over to Nathan.I wanted his comfort. Siva was on his phone calling the police. They soon arrived and took Sam to the station.

"Kyra why did he come back" Max asked "I don't know..I didn't know that he would find me"I said starting to cry. I rested my head on Max's shoulder icing my nose. I soon fell into a deep sleep.I felt someone moving me. I slowly opened my eyes to see Max carrying me to my room. He put me under the covers and kissed my fore head. I soon fell back into a deep sleep.

I woke up to seeing the sun blaring in. I got up to go to the restroom. I hopped in the shower and brushed my teeth. When i was done I put on a peach colored crop top and a peach mini skirt with black peep-toe booties. I went to Nathans room to talk to him about yesterday. I knocked on the door before walking in. He was still asleep so I decided to wake him up. I went over to his bed and started to tickle him. He started squirming and finally awoke. He looked angry before smiling when he saw me. "Hey babe"He said in his morning voice "I need to talk to you about that guy yesterday"I said trying not to cry "Yeah ok give me a bit"He said siting up. I kissed his check before walking out of his room. I sat on the couch waiting for him. He finally came which seemed like an hour. "So what you wanna tell me"He asked "So the guy yesterday was" I said starting to cry "He was my abusive boyfriend.I meet him when I was at the park"I said "I was going to a hard time because my dad has just died. He asked me to marry him a week later"I said crying even harder "I said yes. That's when he started to abuse me and hurt me""I ran away a year later to go to the care home.That's when I found out that I had a brother.I was asked if I wanted to live with him and I agreed"I said breathing hard
