Chapter 35: "Bye Baby"

*Kyra's POV*

I woke up to someone shaking me. I groaned and opened one eye. I saw Kaliegh looking terrified.

"Kaliegh? its 3:30 in the morning" I groaned looking at my clock.

"Kyra. Please. I think I lost the baby" She cried.

I followed her into her bedroom. I saw the sheets a blood red. I gasped and looked to Kaliegh. She was on her knees with her head in her hands.

"Kaliegh we have to get you to the doctor" I said pulling her up.

We walked down stairs in silence. I slipped on my slippers and grabbed a jacket. Kaliegh slipped on her flip flops and grabbed a sweater. I got my phone and my keys and ran out the door. Kaliegh was waiting for me to open the car. We buckled up and got in. Kaliegh burst out into to tears. It was so hard not to cry with her. I felt a tear fall down my cheek.

I pulled up into a parking spot. I turned off the car and got out. I grabbed Kaliegh's hand and we rushed inside. Kaliegh's head was down looking at her feet.

"I need a nurse!" I screamed.

A nurse came out and asked us whats wrong. I told her and she took Kaliegh into ultrasound. I came in with them and watched. The nurse put the gel onto her belly. I looked at the picture on the screen.

The nurse looked at Kaliegh and I with sorrow in her eyes. Kaliegh burst out into tears. I went to her side and patted her back. I felt a few tears fall. I turned off my phone only wanting to be with Kaliegh.

"Do you want to go back home to the lads or stay at a hotel?" I asked.

"I don't want to go home" Kaliegh replied her voice a whisper and cracked.

I nodded and grabbed our stuff. We thanked the nurse and left. We got into the car and drove to the nearest hotel. First I stopped at home and grabbed some clothes, Kaliegh's phone, money, then left a note saying:

We will be gone for a couple of days (Kyra and Kaliegh)

We have reasons don't ask, search, or text us please

I walked out of the house and into the car. I drove off to the nearest motel and parked. I went to the lobby and asked for a room.

"Can i have a room for 2 nights please?" I asked smiling.

"Yes ma'am for 1 night it is 50 dollars so your total will come to 100 dollars" the front desk lady smiled.

I nodded and gave her my credit card and she swiped it.

"Your room is 21 and is up the stairs and to your right" she smiled and handed me the room key.

We walked up to our room and put our clothes down.

"Kyra? Kaliegh asked softly.

"Yea?" I replied turning around to look at her.

"Can you go to the store and get me some ice cream and movies?"She asked shyly

"Course"I smiled and grabbed my keys.

"I'll be back before you know it"I said and walked out the door.

I walked to my car and drove to the nearest grocery store.

I parked my car in the nearest parking spot and walked into the store. I grabbed a basket and went to the ice cream section. I grabbed 3 types of flavors

Mint Chocoalate Chip

Tripple Caramel

Krazy Kolors

I went to the snack section and grabbed some snacks. Someone came over to me and turned me around. I was shocked at first to see those big green orbs looking down at me.

"Kyra?"Nathan asked looking confused yet shocked.

"Hia?"I smiled turning back to the snack selections.

Nathan cut infront of me with a sad expression on his face.

"What are you doing here? Why did you leave?"He asked me one by one.

"Nath... K-Kaliegh l-lost the baby Ï stuttered looking down at my white converse.

"What? Can I see her?"He asked pulling up my chin.

"I don't know...I guess'' I said

He smiled and we walked to check-out.

I payed for the ice cream and snacks.

We walked out to our cars and Nathan followed me to the hotel.

He got out of the car and followed me up to the hotel room. I opened the door to hear Kaliegh whispereing.

"Bye Baby. Momma will miss so so so much" She cried softly.
