First night time feeding-

~Chey's POV~ I heard her fussing, Hayden, MY baby; so I rolled over, detangling myself from Jamie's arms, and picked her up. Her eyes were open and she was blinking sleepily, not really focusing on anything. "You have your daddies eyes." I told her, kissing both of her cheeks and then her little nose. She curled her toes and moved her legs up and down, I knew she was hungry.

I pushed my pillow up on my bed and leaned back on it, unbuttoning the hole above my boob and moving the fabric over. One good thing about hospital clothes is that it's very easy to feed your baby when you wear them. I had to encourage her a little, but once she caught on, she began eating.

I don't know how much time passed but I got shaken awake by Jamie. "Cheyenne, honey, you fell asleep." I looked down at Hayden in my arms. She wasn't eating anymore and my boob was kind of just sitting there. I would have blushed if I had the energy to. "Here, give me her and you go get a shower." Jamie said, holding his arms out for her. I handed her over and quickly buttoned up my shirt, glad that Jamie wasn't like other guys who stare at your boobs when they pop out. "What time is it?" I asked, glancing over at my alarm clock. "Oh," I said. 7:35. I had been asleep for a little over two hours.

I took Jamie's advice and while he held her, I showered thoroughly, shaving my legs and any other places that seemed to need shaving, and then I toweled myself dry, looking in the mirror. The size of my stomach had already dramatically decreased since having Hayden, but there was still a little flab of extra skin. The doctor had told me that that was just my uterus and it was swollen, in a couple of weeks it should go back down to size.

I sighed and touched it. At least I didn't get stretch marks, I thought to myself. I wrapped a towel around my body and then another one around my hair and walked out into my room. Jamie was rocking Hayden in his arms, pacing in my room. I watched them for a while, smiling. Jamie glanced up and saw me, "Oh, hey. I was just telling her how beautiful she was. You know, she had your face." I shook my head. "I think she looks exactly like David." Jamie shook his head, "She had his hair and his eyes, but the rest, that's you." I smiled at him, happy that he had seen me in my daughter's face, and then grabbed some clothes to wear. I wasn't even thinking about it as I threw the towel around my body down and pulled on a comfortable pair of panties (no thongs for a while!), and then released my hair from its towel, shaking it out.

Jamie's voice broke my train of though, "I'm going to uh---step into the other room." He said. I looked over at him, catching sight of his face for only a second before he disappeared into the hallway. Had he been blushing? I quickly dressed and mussed my hair before following Jamie out into the hallway. He was still holding Hayden, leaning against the hall. He turned to see me when I stepped out of my room. I smiled at him, trying to hide my dire curiosity. "Hey Jamie," I said. "Do you want to help me give her a bath?" He smiled and nodded, looking down at Hayden. "Are you ready for your first bath?" He asked her as if expecting a reply.

Jamie and I made a good team. He held onto Hayden while I gently washed her little body and fine hair. He made sure no soap or water got into her eyes so I could get the job done. When we finished, he lifted her up and put her in a towel, handing her to me. "There you go mommy. One clean, fresh smelling baby." I smiled at him and led the way to my room. My phone was flashing next to my bed. "Jamie, do you mind checking that?" I asked. "No I do not." He replied, flipping open my phone. "It's a text," He told me as I laid Hayden out on my bed and held out two different outfits I was having a difficult time choosing between. "From Libby." He continued. "D has been bugging me to text you all morning. U up?" Jamie looked up at me when he was done reading it.

"Say, yes, with a little smiley face after it." I told him. The phone buzzed again three seconds later. "Can we come over? Fam. wants to meet Hayden." Jamie read, looking up at me again. "Tell them, of course." I said, he typed that in and then set my phone down on the bedside table. He took his phone from the pocket of his jeans, which were on my floor. "Ah," He said. "My mom called, fifteen times." I laughed and decided on the cute pink dress with a heart on the front. "Tell her she can come too." I offered, "And your sisters." Jamie smiled at me and shook his head, "You're going to regret that. "
