Crowded Minds

End my everlasting suffering,
I fall too weak and selfish,
I cease to play lifes game,
End this torturous longing.

I who hold the choice,
Cannot choose either of my options,
For they are both so awfully painful,
I beg you please hear my voice.

End my hopelessness and regret,
They surround me close like a shadow,
Consuming my mind and needs,
I sometimes wish we never met.

I picture a lake full of aqua clear water,
Beaming and dazzling in the sunlight,
As we sit peacefully gazing into its calling,
Please rid me of these distant memories.

I wish to be revived,
Just a blank empty canvas,
Awaiting the ink of creation,
Please I beg let me be reborn.

But wishes are just fairytale,
Prayers are just thoughts,
Then feelings come unwanted,
And so I am just numb.
