Things were a little distant between Kizana and I, so I decided it would be best to look into another club. I was walking around the school curiously when I stumbled upon a club I didn't know even existed, the Occult club. It really wasn't the club I noticed, but the dark, demonic decor. I went in and began to look around, finding my fingers travelling down the spine of a book entitled "Demon, Succubus, Vampire". I removed it from the bookcase and smiled, mindless to the fact that I had barged into the empty room.

"U-um, hi? A-are y-you... h-ave you read th-that book?"

I shook my head no, the quiet girl's eyes wandering to her shoes. She looked sad, her eyes tired and droopy.

"I like your choker, it suits you."

She slowly glanced up at my chin, her expression unchanged. I smiled at her, but she was still unresponsive. I looked to the skull, a knife through its forehead. Everything in this room was so different from what I was used to.

"Where can I sign up?"

I was quite eager for change. Her eyes brightened, her eyebrows lifting ever so slightly. She had gorgeous moonlight purple eyes, they seemed to suit her perfectly.

"Y-you...actually...want to join...?"

I nodded, still a smile on my face. Everything in me said that I had to be cautious, she seemed so shy and fragile that I didn't want to offend or embarrass her. I was pretty excited for this new step in my life, something different than what I was used to. I headed to the club everyday for the next two weeks, the girl and I becoming closer by the second... even though I still didn't know her name yet. I turned through the halls to see her with Supana and Shin. I stood by the wall, seeing if I could make out what they were saying. That may sound creepy, but I felt it was important information.

"I.. I think th-they c-cast a hex on me... I can't g... g-get them out of m-my mind..."

My face froze. How could I have been so stupid, I didn't even know her name and I fell for her? She liked someone else, it was over. Another girl taken away from me. I ran to the Occult club and lied on the floor, I couldn't even put in effort to sit in a chair. I managed to doze off in my own silence while waiting to tell her I would quit.

I woke, groggy and confused. How long had it been... hours? I brushed my hand over... soft skin? The Occult club leader was in my arms, asleep. Forgetting why I was there, I buried my muzzle in her shoulder. The moment was so calm, my racing heart began to calm. Her leg twitched and she awoke, her eyes moist and unalert. We said nothing for a minute, eye contact in place of words. I realized that I couldn't quit the club... maybe the person she was talking about was-

"I... c-could lie here... f-forever."

I inhaled deeply, her voice muffled and innocent. I knew I probably had a class going on, but that wasn't my priority at the moment.

"Me too... me too..."

We slowly got up, I stretched my legs as she wiped her eyes. I began to remember the earlier occurrences that day. Without thinking, I asked,

"Was the person you were talking about me?"

She paused, her mouth and eyes starting to widen. She looked to the side and scratched her lip. Her eyes met mine once more, but nothing had to be said.

"D-do you... h-have f-feelings... for me?"

I just smiled and kissed her on the forehead, then began to head to the door. I stopped, however, looking back with a mischievous grin.

"This is rather embarrassing but... what's your name, sorry?"

She looked a bit confused, but I saw realization on her face. In fact, I never told her my name until later that evening

"R-ruto... Oka."
