Varys

He was quite mesmerized by the purple lady, although highly concerned about her sorcery and magic. She currently stood before him, in a secluded section, right outside of the Iron Gate, near Rosby Road. At least she understood his need for discretion. As she and Tyrion approached, the Red Viper threatened,

"Show her the appropriate level of respect. She is a lady in her world and shall be treated as such in ours."

This outsider...this intruder, was disrupting his world quite a bit. First of all the things she had said, at the trial by combat, implicating him in Joffrey's murder...well. That was nearly unforgivable, but, he was going to hear her out respectfully. He really was intrigued by how she had drastically changed the game, over night...and no everyone was guessing as to how it would play out. The realm was growing increasingly unstable.

"It has been brought to my attention that the lady would like to speak with me?"

She was dressed in that same long silver cloak, a fabric that sparkled as if it was made from the sun it self. Her name, Lady Steffana Scott of the Shakespearan Scotts... her words Power of the Sky, her sigil, a lightning bolt...and she had a mechanical dragon. These were all the things his little birds had discovered.

"Well of course, Varys...I don't know how much you know about me, or what I do, but I'll tell you myself, so we can be clear. I know exactly who you are and what you do. You are intelligence...and everyone needs some intelligence. I must have you on my team."

"Why would you have a need for my services...as I understand it, you have an instrument in your possession that shows you all that is, all that was, and all that will be- and not only that-  some how you can change it all, just on a whim. Do you mind telling me what kind of sorcery is this...or how many children were sacrificed so that you might enjoy these powers?"

"Absolutely no children were harmed in the production of my controller, I promise you, Vary's everything that you see, everything that I use...is just the most simplistic technology of my day. It is not nearly as impressive as what you can do...and that's why I'm going to need you on my team. My ability to obtain knowledge of this world is limited to what is and what was...what will be, has been totally thrown of course...and I will need you in order to navigate that."

"Why should I help you? Doing so would pit me against the Lannisters and the current King, who you have disrespected even though, he surely is a suitable King, that could bring peace back to the Seven Kingdoms."

"Well, sorry to inform you but that ship has sailed and sailed again...trust me when I tell you that the realm is very unstable...and it is destined to become even less so...Tommen will die, he always dies, it's like, a fate that cannot be changed...that plunges the realm into chaos, but there are other forces that are breaking things down...the seven kingdoms are at risk themselves...I want the realm to remain. I know you want the same."

"I'm listening."

"We want the same thing Varys, what's best for the realm. I think that we both know that the realm's best bet is Daenerys Stormborn, and that's where I'm set to go. I'm taking Tyrion, the Viper, we're going to find her and help her."

"Is that what you want then, you think that my little bird's might be able to assist you-"

"Vary's please. Of course I know where she is, or at least where she shall be, Mereen. So no, that's not what I want."

"Then what is it?"

"What you are best at...double agency. I need you to stay here, do what you do for the Lannisters, but really, I want you to be aligned with us."
