Stefanna created a sort of backdoor, an escape hatch that allows her to run somewhere in the programming, to hide and reprogram any errors that she had made- there was a catch any deep changes to the core programming were actually hacking, and any deep hacking that needed to be done, was beyond her abilities, and so to that end, in case of extreme emergency, which, clearly this was, she had programmed a virtual Kieron into the game.
