I groaned loudly as I shifted against the hard yet comfortable surface that I'd slept on. I stretched my arm upward casually, but my eyes shot open when my hand landed on what felt like a nose. I blinked a few times to adjust to the light as I took in my surroundings. I was in Sebastian's office. At that realization, I quickly sat up to see what exactly I was laying on.

Sebastian laid there on his back with one of his arms around my waist. I carefully pushed His arm off so I could sit up properly and shakily stood up from the position we were in on the couch. "Oh god." I groaned.

We fell asleep midway through our searching last night. I grabbed my bag and quietly headed to my office. I used my private bathroom to freshen up and brush my teeth with my spare toothbrush before calling Ben.

"Hey, Ben! Can you get Sebastian to a hotel later on today? You can pick him up from the office."

"No problem, Ms. Carter. Do you need anything else?" He asked politely. "Um, I'm going to request that Martha packs him a bag. Could you pick it up?" I asked hopefully.

"Of course. I'll be right on it ma'am."

"Thank you! You're a lifesaver. I'll make sure Sebastian gives you a raise! Oh and just call me Nyla. "

After finishing that call, I left my office and headed to Sebastian's tailor. He had a couple of meetings today and his current get-up was not suitable for them. Thankfully I was given a spare key in case I ever had to pick anything up from his home.

After retrieving his fresh new suit and some underclothes, I left and went to my place. I took a shower, moisturized, and got dressed. Before I went back to the office I picked up breakfast and stopped to pick up a watch from Sebastian's jeweler.

On my way back my phone rang. "Hello?"

"Nyla? Where'd you go?"

"I'm on my way back, Sebastian. I picked up something for you to wear and I got your watch. I also got breakfast." I told him. "I-um-Thank you."

"No problem. Just doing my job."

I was just doing my job, however, I also did this in hopes that a meal and a change in clothes would make him feel better. "I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about last night. Thank you."

"You're welcome. I was only looking out for you."

"It's appreciated. I don't have that many people looking out for me in a good way these days." He sighed. "Anywho, I'll see you soon."

"Yeah, see you soon."

"Sebastian? Ben is waiting for you downstairs."

I walked into Sebastian's office and looked around to see where he was. Last I checked he was in his office. "I told you I'm not going home?" He said as he emerged from the side of the bookcase. "Why not?"

"I don't want to go there. Not until I know it's secured and you don't go back there either." He said. "Well, you can't stay here. You can't keep sleeping in your office. So let Ben take you to a hotel at least."

"I don't want to go there either."

I sighed and tapped my foot impatiently. "Can I-would it be okay if—um how about I stay with you." He proposed. I looked up at him to make sure he was serious and judging by the expression on his face I knew he was.

"How long are you gonna keep this up?" I asked. "Maybe a week max." He shrugged.

I groaned a little as I considered it. "Okay, but I won't hesitate to kick you out if you bug me." I threatened as I headed to my office.

Sebastian and I met back up at my apartment building. When I arrived he was already waiting outside. "You sure you okay with this?" He asked as I led him inside.

"Yeah, I wouldn't have agreed if I wasn't."

"Alright, There's Food in the kitchen, the guest bedroom is that way, my room is up there, and you know where the bathroom is. This closet has all the towels and blankets and stuff." I explained when we got into my apartment.

"Thank you."

"It's no problem, really," I replied as I pulled off my jacket. It was quiet between us as I looked over at him. "Well don't just stand there. Make yourself at home, but don't get too comfortable. I'm gonna start dinner."

He only nodded as he moved further into the living room. I pulled my hair up into a messy bun and made my way into the kitchen to start cooking. As badly as I wanted to order out, Sebastian needed a home-cooked meal. He'd been consuming takeout all weekend.

I left the food to cook and sprinted to my room to get out of my work clothes and take a shower. After showering and handling half of my nightly routine, I got dressed in an oversized t-shirt and sweatpants before returning to the kitchen. I jumped in surprise when I found Sebastian leaning against the island with a plush red towel wrapped around his waist as he scrolled through his phone.

I cleared my throat to grab his attention and he looked at me a bit sourly. "You're naked...in my kitchen." I pointed out.

"I know."

I opened my mouth to ask why before closing it and sighing. "I don't even—go get dressed please and thank you."

"Alright, no need to be a prune." He teased. "Haha very funny." I mocked.
