"Hello?" I called, walking into the dark room. The glass door slammed behind me, my footsteps echoing across the room.

The lights sprung on making me jump slightly.

"Sneaking around are we?" Steve asked, crossing his muscular arms.

I spun around my hand going to my chest. "Don't scare me like that Rogers, I might accidently blow you up." He chuckled and walked over to the wall to press a button.

"How you feeling today?" He was trying to be casual.

"So what we doing?" I blanked his question.

"Today I'm just going to assess you. We'll do some general fitness." He signalled to the climbing frame which had just appeared. "Followed by some fighting." He signalled to the ring. My the eyes landed on the many different shiny weapons. "Hand to hand combat." He added noticing my stare.

The smile fell from my face "Come on i'm fine, it was one minor meltdown."

"A minor meltdown that ripped apart this room? I'm suprised you didn't burn the place down." I looked up pouting.

"What if I promise not to touch the knives?" He shook his head.

"Nope, come we'll start with pull ups." A groan escaped me as I trudged to follow the Captain over to a high metal bar.

"Urg I hate arms, can we do legs?" I whined, standing underneath.

"If you don't get your ass up there now i'll make you do double." He retorted.

"Whatever." I jumped up gripping the bar tightly. "But you know Cap every day is leg day."

"Em I don't have a clue what your talking about, just be quiet and give me 50." I groaned and began lifting myself up as he stood next to me.

-

"Right you can stop now it's too painful to watch." He said laughing as I collapsed into a heap on the floor, my arms feeling like they'd been ripped by lions.

"Told you I was shit at arms."

"What are you good at then?" He questioned chucking me a water bottle, which I took gratefully.

I glanced around at the training room, I could make this work. Leaving Steve stood there I began setting things up until I had created a course from all the equipment.

"Obsticle course?" He asked confused.

"Parkour?" I answered, he nodded laughing.

"Figured, that does seem very you." He added.

"Getting from A to B in the quickest way possible. That's what I loved to practice at The Mort. The other stuff like BJJ, Brazillian Jujitsu, Judo, knife throwing, ect, ect was all kind of thrust upon me. Their idea was to train me to be a assassin, that way they could eliminate their enemies with more stealth. Who sees a little girl and thinks well I guess I'm dead. But I never clicked with it. I was only 7 and they were asking me to murder? I just wanted to colour and read. But I couldn't so Parkour became my outlet." I finished, staring at one of the walls.

"Sounds brutal." Steve replied standing opposite me.

I shrugged. "It's in the past now." He nodded putting his hand out to help me up. "So how would you like to race me ice age?" I questioned.

He shook his head laughing "Can't be that hard, where's the finish line?"

-

"Okay, you win." The super solider finally exclaimed, conceding. He was doubled over attempting to get his breath back. I did a gainer off the monkey bars landing cleanly on both feet.
