"You in there Emilia?" A voice sounded from outside the bathroom door. I finished throwing up before answering.

"Yup, enter at your own risk."

The door opened revealing a laughing Steve Rogers. "Ooo you look great."

My middle finger rose into the air as I emptied my stomach for the last time. "Really not in the mood. What even happened last night? Why does my head hurt so much?" I groaned leaning back against the bath.

"That my dear is called a hangover." He replied pulling out a spare toothbrush out from under the sink.

"Obviously I know that. I mean why does it feel like someone's hit me with a sledgehammer. My head hurts."

He frowned and crouched down in front of me. "Where abouts." I signalled to the back left side of my head. He carefully moved my hair out the way.

I winced as he touched my scalp  "Ow careful Cap."

He pulled his hand round and frowned at the blood on his fingers, "How on earth did you do that?"

"Do I look like I remember?" I smapped back sarcastically.

He handed me the toothbrush and toothpaste. "You should get yourself cleaned up I'll grab you some clothes."

I turned on the shower and stripped down. On hearing Steve return, I hopped into the water and pulled across the curtain. The water was so smooth and refreshing as it washed away all the bits of sick and dirt.

"I'm done!" I called, rubbing the soap out my eyes. The noise of the door opening sounded and a towel was thrown into me. When I exited Steve was stood smiling, he had a pair of my leggings, some underwear and a top in his hands.

"Like what you see Rogers." I teased standing wrapped in the short towel.

He laughed raising his eyebrows "You do look lovely, the runny mascara really finishing off the look."

"Damn you're getting the hang of this sarcasm lark. Maybe I'm a bad influence." I replied smirking.

He just shook his head. "I really gotta get away from you and Stark."

"Morning Brucey." I greeted entering his domain.

The scientist looked up from his notes. "Wasn't expecting you to be up for at least another couple hours."

"I think the vomiting had something to do with that, don't you Em?" Steve added chuckling.

Bruce shook his head. "Can't say I'm surprised."

"Let's stop this little tease Emilia sesh, Bruce I was kinda wondering if you have got my antidote not really feeling the alcohol poisoning anymore."

He signalled to his right. "Second drawer down, by the microscope."

Steve turned to face me. "Right I'll see you when I get back then?"

"Not until later I've got some work to do." I replied.

"So she does work, god I thought that was a myth!" What was that annoying noise? I ignored metal man's comment and focused my attention back to the Captain.

"See you whenever then." He kissed me quickly before jogging off down the corridor.

"Aren't you two adorable! Honestly never seen someone so happy to be clearing up sick, until Rogers last night." Who even invited him here, I cannot be dealing with Stark today.

"Banner can you do this for me please." I asked holding out the syringe filled with the liquid which would return my healing abilities and end this shitty headache. He put down his pen and signalled for me to sit down.

"What I wanna know is how someone who is consistently getting impaled, is afraid of needles?" Tony questioned sorting out his welding torch.

I hissed as the metal sank through my skin.  "If you must know, after my memories of being stabbed with syringes over and over again until I could do this." A fireball appeared on my hand. "I've become rather against the concept."

He nodded his head. "Valid point."

The entire day pasted slowly. After spending about an hour in the lab with Stark and Banner, I then spent about an hour having another bath and regaining my strength after the horrendous state I was in last night. Usually I'd at least do a couple hours of training, but today that was not happening as sick risk was too high. So instead I spent time doing some digging through the various government databases, in attempt to find out as much as I could about a Cally Evans, or if we go by the alias she's created, Charlotte Garcia.
As far as the world knows Cally Evans died 12 years ago on the outskirts of a town in the French Alps.

My mouse found it's way to an old newspaper article. I double clicked on the link.

Tragedy In French Alps

British mother found dead and French daughter reported missing by local police.

In the late hours of Tuesday evening, a body was discovered by a dog walker. The body was British Citizen, Cally Evans who has been living in France for Severn years with her six year old daughter and husband. According to the investigation team Evans and her young daughter, Elizabeth Garcia left their home at around 7 of clock.

Police are asking anybody who may have seen either, Cally or Elizabeth to get in touch with their local police unit.

Currently, Elizabeth is still missing and possible injured. Family of the girl have made a plea that anyone with any information to come forward immediately.

Superintendent Castello, of Chamonix police department, also made a statement this morning. "Elizabeth Garcia is our current priority, she is a French citizen and only 6 years old. Obviously we believe that her disappearance is linked to her mother's death so if you see anything do not approach, you must immediately call the police and keep your distance. We are doing everything in our power to find her, she is a scared, injured little girl who has lost her mother. Please, please call in with any information."

A knock on the door broke me out of my reading. I quickly shut my laptop. "Come in!"

"You got your work done then?" He asked coming over and sitting down on the sofa.

"Yeah pretty much. How was your meeting with Fury?"

He sighed. "Fine I guess."
I sat down next to the solider, laying my legs across his.

He stroked my leg. "I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me tomorrow?"

I smiled. "That sounds lovely Steve."

He leant forward letting me sink into the luxury of his lips.
