"Yo Banner." I called entering the lab. Today he was writing notes. I swear the lab is his little hobbit hole.

"Morning Em." He glanced up in my direction for a second.

I slipped on a lab coat and grabbed some goggles.

"What you doing today then?" The Doctor asked suddenly intrigued in my protective layers.

"You got these?" I asked putting a list of chemicals in front of him. He picked up the paper pulling a face at the different ingredients.

"Jesus, what's all this for?"

"Tonight." I said grabbing the test tubes out the cupboard.

"You going to blow up the building?" He asked.

"Oh please I don't need chemicals to do that Bruce." I replied chuckling.

He shook his head, "Of course, you have fire." He added sighing and handing me back the paper.

"Exactly, no this is to blow up my immune system." A confused look was thrown my way. "If I have alcohol my body heals itself, therefore inhibiting my chances of getting drunk. When I was 15 and discovered alcohol properly for the first time Maria, this boy Finn and I spent 5 months developing a kind of antidote. It gives me around 18 hours of solid partying before it wears off and my cells wash out the alcohol poisoning." I lit the bunson burner with my finger.

"And you're sure this is safe?" He asked concerned.

"Absolutely not, it means I'm vulnerable for a 15 hours. But again after a near miss when I was 16 we made a solution which immediately exterminates the drug and brings back my healing. I carry it everywhere on a night out."

He sent me another disturbed look "What was the incident?"

"Work night out, got really pissed, forgot I couldn't heal and dared someone to shoot me in the stomach. Luckily Finn wasn't drinking due to being on antibiotics. If he hadn't of found me I would have bled out. But like I said that's what the back up solutions for."

Bruce let out a obviously uneasy sigh. "And you are positive you'll be okay?"

"Don't worry it's tried and tested." I said hitting him reassuringly on the shoulder.

He stayed quiet for a good 10 seconds before reluctantly answering. "Okay, I'll get you the things."

Two arms snaked themselves around my torso as I made myself a ham sandwich. Which was then abruptly stolen by the hands attached to the arms. "Steve, I was looking forward to that!" My tone was a cross between amusement and annoyance.

"Mmm I can see why, it's nice." He took a big bite out of it, before giving it back to me to finish.

"Thanks I guess." I jumped up onto the worktop, allowing my legs to swing beneath me.

"I was wondering if you would like to attend Stark's party as my date?" He asked still chewing my sandwich.

"Under one condition."

His face went all serious, "What's that then?"

"That you make me another sandwich first." I replied smiling.

-

"Thank you Tasha" I said admiring my loosely curled hair.

"No problem, Steve isn't gonna be able to control himself with you looking that fly." She said giving me a smirk.

"How do you know about us?" I asked slipping on some black strapped heels to match my bondage, crossed black dress

"You honestly think Tony can keep a secret?"

I laughed, of course he can't it's Tony. "It's nothing serious anyway, just some fun."

She nodded sending me another smirk. "Not that kind of fun! Gosh, nope, not yet anyway." I picked up my formula off the bedside table and carefully poured it into the syringe.

"And you're sure this is safe?" The redhead asked, an eyebrow raised in caution.

"Yes, done it hundreds of times before. Now can you inject me with it please I don't like needles." Nat came over and took the syringe out my hand. I closed my eyes as the cool metal entered through my skin. A warmth fell through me for a split second.

"Right lets go get drunk!"

When we got downstairs not many people had arrived yet and I'd already had a couple of shots.

"You look beautiful." Steve said giving me a kiss on the cheek, I blushed.

"Looking fairly handsome yourself." He smiled.

"Emilia this is Sam aka the Falcon, Sam this is Em aka Scary fire girl." I shook his hand.

"Is it true you blasted him when you first met?" Sam asked laughing. "Because I would pay to see that shit."

I flipped my hair over my shoulder "What can I say? I am an amazing human being."

"Man Steve I like this girl." He raised his glass towards me. "Don't let her go."

The captain put his arm around my waist. "I'm not going to."
