The machine lit up and the shape of a human was created out of light. The white figure has its arms out and feet apart floating above the floor. As Gabe disappeared, the material of the human grew more and more. A white cloak grew on it and its face appeared, it was Gabe's face.
"Do you know what would be really handy now? A reset button!" Andy laughed.
"Oh my god! We can build it!"
"Hey we need to find a way out of here!" Andy said as he got up from the dark.
"How?" Evan responded,
"Go into hiding!"
"What!"
"I mean we can make a plan and find Gabe and and... that's where we can build the button!"
"Look." Evan said with a demotivated voice, "We can't do anything, we're in a prison, held by the fucking devil!!!"
"Your point?"
A little panel opened on the side of the wall, Andy dived towards it, "I've got it!!!". He grabbed the little bit of the wall that had came open. He pulled it straight off and a green light came from inside the gap in the wall.Gabe fell out of the machine and landed on the floor. He woke up as his eyes peeked around the old stone room. There was a skull next to the controls, he picked it up and when he realised it was reall, he freaked out and threw it out the window.
"Holy shit!" Gabe shouted.
"What?!"
"We can take off the hole fucking wall!"
"I though you were against swearing" Gabe bent down the the small square gap in the wall and grabbed the inside of the gap, and he pulled it forward. Gabe fell backwards with a massive plate of the wall in his hands. They pulled off the next wall and found behind it a stone wall as if from an old castle, it was contrasted to the techno future jail they were in.The doors in front of Gabe burst open. "Oh lord!" He shouted. He ran into the next room and saw a corridor with stone bricks and small windows.
Evan lifted up his leg and he slammed it down at the wall. A few pieces of rubble flew of it and they looked at each other with a smile. Andy and Evan continued to kick the wall until the wall was all crumbly.
As Gabe was approaching the water he stuck his arms out for a dive. Underwater was at least 200 skulls. There were stairs leading to a door above the water, grabbing the little glass nob of the door, Gabe pulled it open and there was a wall of crystal, it had a few dents in it and on the other side he saw his friends.
The wall had a few cracks in it letting in some light from the outside, Evan started pushing at a big block and he managed to shove it out of the slot.
"Oh my!" Andy laughed as the red shine from the fire outside stained his eyes, and they covered them.Gabe spun around and the figure was behind him. He smashed it down on the crystal. He tried not to show any pain, but his hand was bleeding and he was shouting with his mouth shut. Gabe lifted his bloody uncloseable hand, a few pieces of the crystal flew off. Long hands grew around head.
Outside was a moat leading to a hill of grass and a forest behind it. They crawled out of the little gab the brick left and Andy's beerbelly made it a hard time, but they fell out and they were in the bottom floor of the castle. They stumbled down the hill into the moat and swam across, after the climb up the hill and an attempt to get dry by the fire, they looked at eachother and had the same idea.
Gabe's body was burnt and the ghost walked back into the water. He climbed up all the stairs in a lot of pain, as he got to the top he stumbled into the room he stared in. He leapt towards the controls and pressed them, disintegrated and came out the machine again.
Gabe jumped out the window and landed in the water. Smashed down on the wall of crystal, it now had quite a gap in it. The figure burnt him and he crawled up to the control room.
He pressed the button and died, reappearing in the machine. The door burst open and the figure scared him. He slammed down the wall of crystal, crawled back up to the machine, died and appeared again.
Andy grew a large grin, as if he had forgotten where he was... *forgotten, #forgotten!!! Sorry I'll carry on* "this would be perfect to hid out!!"
"Oh my god lad yes!!" Evan laughed back at him.
They took of their jumpers, pulled up their trousers and started digging. After at least an hour of manual labour, they had pushed down six trees.Gabe climbed out the window and leapt back into the other room. Underwater he saw a load of skulls, he punched the crystal giving it even more dents.
Evan looked through the forest and saw a bunch a hell guards, red headed bald buff people marching through the forest. "Shit!" He whispered.
"What?"
"We need to hide" Evan said as he divide into the pile of logs, Andy followed, the curled up and Andy threw his blue jumper over the gap. They heard the troops march past.
"we need to make this hole look natural!" Andy said with a think.Gabe leapt into the water and he hit the crystal leaving quite a big hole. He died and reappeared. He punched the crystal, after while it now had a decently sized hallway in it. He died got wet and smacked the wall, died got scared and punched the wall, died, saw skulls and got burnt.
Andy ran over to a little stream, over it he saw a girl repeatedly asking where she was. Gabe followed and asked,
"What is it?"
"This would be perfect!"
"You said that last time but lets hear"
"Ok! We could like, we could say that it is a little beavers damn, and have like a trap door, inside it!!"
"Ok, for an idea from the top of your head, that's really good!"
Evan and Andy spent around 3 hours clearing the entire forest for little stickers and branches, but they met back at the river.Gabriel had repeated this in isolation for years now, he had made a tunnel in the wall, he gave a loud scream and punched the wall and the figure behind him stopped.
"So, is this like building a tent?" Evan joked, "or does it work differently?"
"I think we get our biggest branch and make a curve over the river." And so they did. Andy took the longest one, just about the size of Evan, and stuck one end into the little ditch leading to the river and the same on the other side. Him and Andy did a few more of these until they filled enough room for them to lay. They carried on building it, weaving the twigs and branches in and out of the support beams. By the end, they had built a decent believable beaver damn.
The sun was about to set past the forest, and that could only mean that more hell guards were going to come. There was light gleaming through it and pieces of the crystal fell off. Leaving a decent sized hole for him to walk through, the shine on the other side gleamed on him. He covered his eyes with his hands and started laughing, the figure put his hands down and walked away, back into the water.
Evan had been away from the damn looking for hunting to turn into food, but when he came back, he couldn't find Andy.
"Andy?! Is it.. where are you?" But when he went inside the little damn, there was a trapdoor on the floor, opening it reviled a hole other space in the basement. Andy's head popped out from another room and he laughed,
"You like?"
"I like!" Evan laughed.
In the main room was a chair and little doors leading towards other smaller rooms. The floor was all smooth. Admittedly, the hole place was made out of dirt and ground, but it felt safe. And for an underground bunker, it was pretty cool.
They had a radio connected with the news from hell, with the soul purpose to hear about Gabe. Andy showed him around, his bedroom, the toilet and the kitchen, but there was one more room, one that Andy ignored.
"What's in that room?" Evan asked, and Andy showed him,
"Well, I've got a plan, it's," they walked in to see a lone pole out of the ground with a red button on it, "a reset button."
"WHAT!" Evan shouted, "you've done it!"
