i took a very deep breath and walked over to hermonie "he'll be fine" she said grabbing my hand "i hope so" i said  resting my head on her shoulder. "hermonie..." i said. "yes" she said turning to me "i had a strange dream last night" i said looking in her eyes "no..." she said. i nodded. she knew it had something to do with voldermort...she knew. she dragged me into our room "what happened in it?" hermonie asked. "voldermort was chasing me and he got me....and i was turning evil just at his touch... i-i-i destroyed the world.." i said tearing up. hermonie gave me a huge, huge, huge hug "kat..listen to me. no one can turn evil if they dont want to. your a good person, a strong person you fight for the side of good...not evil." hermonie said. i nodded and took a breath. "are you ok?" ron asked "yer...you?" i said changing the subject "eh im ol" he said sitting next to hermonie. i swear them too like each..last year i was unsure, but this year! i know! we just talked for a little bit bt in actually fact it was a couple of hours. suddenly harry walked in. i was the first to get to him "sooooooo" i said egerly "im not expelled!" he said happily but something else is on his mind. everyone clapped and cheered and whooped. "anything else.." i said looking at him "dumboldore seemed angry at me" harry wispered sadly. i took his hand "maybe he was mad at the minstry" i suggested. harry nodded and we walked on to the others. we where walking to the train to go back to hogwarts when i saw a black dog walked next to harry and i. i tapped harrys hand and looked down at sirius "sirius? what are you doing here what if someone sees you?" harry said quietly. "i had to see you two goodbye didnt i?" sirius said. "we dont want to see you get sent to azkaban again" i said but it was sweet he came. we walked into a room and i locked the door. i turned around to see sirius in human form. "dont worry about me, anyway i have to give you this...its a picture of the first order of the pheonix. . Marlene McKinnon, she was killed two weeks after this was taken. Voldemort wiped out her entire family. Frank and Alice longbottom.." sirius said. "nevilles parents" i said cutting in. " They suffered a fate worse than death, if you ask me. It’s been fourteen years, and still a day doesn’t go by I dont miss your dad." sirius said to harry. "and my little kat" sirius said turning to me "im not that little im 15" i said shaking my head. sirius laughed and hugged me "here...this is the valentines heart" sirius said pulling out a heart shaped neckless it was made out of rubys. when sirius put it in my hands it the main point started to glow.  "a true valentine" sirius said. i smiled and put it on...well tried i couldnt see! "i cant find it!" i exclaimed sirius laughed and harry chuckled "ill help you love" harry said connecting it "thanks" i said gratefully. "is there going to be a war?" i asked nervously "honestly...i think there is..and we all best be prepared" sirius said. we nodded and borded the train. we where walking of the train and on the plateform. hermonie and i were at the back and ron and harry were at the front. draco walked by "im suprised the minstry is still letting you walk around free, you better not get used to it i heard theres a cell in azkaban." draco teased. harry actually jumped at him! attacking mode! ron held him back "what did i tell you...compelete nutter!" draco said walking away "you stay away from me!" harry shouted. "its only malfoy...what do you expect?" ron said. harry just shook ron off and angrily stomped off "hes been very angry lately.."hermonie said. im actually worried about harry..theres something hes not telling me.."hi harry" neville said "hi neville" we said. i was looking at the creature in front of us...it was an ugly looking thing..."what is it?" harry asked " i have no idea" i replied "ummm guys theres nothing there" heromine said "its pulling itself". i hit my head with my hand. "your not crazy, i can see them too. your just as sane as i am," a girl sitting in the carriage said. we sat in the cart and i was sitting oppiste the girl. im not one to judge on crazy, her voice sounded like mine but british and mines american "everyone this is loony love-.... luna lovegood" hermonie corrected. thats so mean shes not that loony...is she? "thats an interesting neckless" i said breaking the tension. "its a charm actually, keeps the nargles away...im hungry i hope theres pudding." luna said looking at her magazine. i looked at neville but he just shrugged.we walked in and sat down in our groups "hey" kass said from behind me "hey" i said turning around. "Good evening, children. Now, we have two changes in staffing this year. We are pleased to welcome back Professor Grubbly-Plank, who’ll be taking Care of Magical Creatures while Professor Hagrid is on temporary leave. We also wish to welcome our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Dolores Umbridge. I’m sure you’ll all join me in wishing the Professor good luck. Now, as usual, our caretaker Mr. Filch, has asked me to remind you.."dumboldore started. "ahem hehehe" a women in pink said. i cringed at her voice. "she was at my hearing" harry said to us. "thank you head master for those kind words of welcome and how lovely to see all your smiling faces up at me."dolores said. my face was definatley not smiling.."im sure we'll be very good friends." i was trying not to laugh. "The Ministry of Magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be of vital importance. Although each headmaster has brought something new to this historic school,… progress or the sake of progress must be discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved, perfect what can be perfected, and prune practices that ought to be prohibited. Hee, hee…"she said. oh no. the minstry is interferring with hogwarts. "thank you,Professor Umbridge, that really was most illuminating. "dumboldore said. "illuminating? what a load of rubbish" ron said matching my cringe. "whats it mean?" harry asked "it means the minstery is interffering with hogwarts" k/h said. i got attacked with a hug. i turned around to find susan "hey" i said happily "hi" she said hooking arms with me "whats up?" susan asked "just trying to figure some stuff out.." i said smiling. she nodded and we walked our seperate ways. the next morning we had DADA "good mornin-" dolores said she looked at me and walked up to hermonie and is desk "change your hair colour to its original one now!" she said "this is my original colour...ever heard of redheads?" i said causally. everyone laughed silently "name" dolores said quickly "kat" i said. "full name" she said impatiently "katrina valentine" i said raising an eyebrow..i cant believe she didnt recongise me "oh...very well" she said walking back to the front. i did my 'ok then' face. "Good morning, children. Ordinary Wizarding Level Examinations… O.W.L., more commonly known as “owls”. Study hard, and you will be rewarded. Fail to do so, and the consequences may be… severe. Your previous instruction in this subject has been disturbingly uneven, but you will be pleased to know from now on we will be following a carefully constructed, Ministry-approved course of defensive magic." dolores said "There’s nothing in here about using defensive spells…" hermonie said. ": Using spells? Ha, ha! Why, I can’t imagine why you would need to use spells in my classroom. " dolores said. ok what! "we not using magic?" ron said "why not?" i asked "You’ll be learning about defensive spells in a secure, risk-free way" dolores said. "Well, what’s the good of that? If we’re going to be attacked, it’s not going to be “risk-free”. " harry said. "Students will raise their hands to speak in my class. It is the view of the Ministry that a theoretical knowledge will be sufficient to get you through your examination which, after all, is what school is all about. " dolores said "but thats-" i started "raise your hand!" dolores shouted "no" i said bluntly. "what did you say..." she said coming up to my desk. pshhhhed she think she owns me...thats hilerious "i.said. no...was that slow enough for you?" i asked. everyone was trying to keep there laughter in "go to dumboldores office....immediately!" she yelled "better then stuck here with you!" i said. and before she could reply i used my speed to get the heck out. i zoomed to dumboldores office and knocked on the door. "come in" he said. i walked in and sat down "shouldnt you be in class?" dumboldore asked "well...there was a bit of a riff and dolores sent me to you" i said. "what riff?" dumboldore asked "shes not letting us use magic! and i said no to something and she went crazy!!" i exclaimed. "you can go back to class" dumboldore said to me. "ill talk to her". i nodded and zoomed back to my seat "miss valentine!" dolores shouted "yes..." i said like nothing happened "what did he say" dolores said "he'll talk to you" i said shrugging "and detion with me later" dolores said. "you know im not doing anything tomorrow either...unless i insult snape about his hair again..." i said. everyone laughed "for a week! detention for a week!" dolores said. "we can become total besties!!" i said exictedly sitting up. "everyone laughed and some snickered. "you are going to be the death of me!" she screeched. everyone went silent "i dont know why...but i get the sense you dont like me?" i said flapping my hand. everyone cracked up laughing really hard...some fell on the floor. dolores growled and continued the lesson. later that evening harry and i had to go to stupid umbridges office. "what do you want us to write?" harry asked "miss valentine, i will not sass my teachers, mr potter, i will not tell lies." she said. "you didnt give us any ink?" i said. "you wont need ink..." she giggled handing us quills. i started to write when suddenly my quill exploded "mine just exploded.." i said. "you can go.." dolores said angrily. ok... "and you dont have to come back this week" she said even angrier. i sent harry a smpathic look and ran out. i was studying with hermonie and ron when harry came in. hes being very distant from us... "what happened to your hand?" i asked. "nothing" harry said "the other hand.... oh! you have to tell dumboldore" i said. "no! hes got alot on his mind lately." harry said. "bloody hell harry, the hags toruching you!" ron said. "Ah, Harry, you’ve got to report this. It’s perfectly simple, you just-" hermonie said but was cut off by harry "no! its not that simple! you dont understand!" harry exclaimed "then help us understand" hermonie said as he got up and left. "we should let him cool off" i said before they stood up. they nodded and we let harry cool off.
