the first task

harrys p.o.v

i followed moody into his office and looked around, "alright potter now listen, what are you going to do about your dragon?" moody asked me "i uh..well..." i said unsure. "listen potter, your pal diggory at your age could turn a wistle into a clock that could sing you the time, miss delour is much of a fairy princess as i am and, krums head may be filled with sawdust but karkaroffs is not and they are going to have a stratgy probably with his strengths. and then theres dear old kat who has no intention what so ever to win...but dumboldores gonna make all of you promise to do your best so shes gonna just snap her fingers and itd be over and done with" moody said. "strengths harry, what are your strengths?" moody asked me. "err... i can fly, i mean im a pretty good flyer." i said. "not just pretty good ive heard!" moody said smiling. "but im not allowed a broom?" i askedish "but your allowed a wand" moody said looking at me with that look of idea.

kats p.o.v

everyone was pacing around the camp cabin area nervously, but i was just sitting on the chair paitently "arent you nervous?" fluer shouted across the room in disbeilef. i shrugged "i dont know?" i said confused "do you have a plan?" cedric asked joining the conversation "yep, dont get killed" i said bluntly "thats it? what are you gonna do if it attacks!?" viktor asked curiously "ill just do what i always do.... wing it" i said shrugging. i really couldnt care less if i won or not. everyone went back to pacing and cedric waled over "your not worried about losing?" he asked "nope... i honestly couldnt care less if i lost, i was dragged into this so i have no real motive to win" i answered. there was a flash and we saw rita with her camera man "cheating now are we..ah kat darling! smile!" rita shouted as i walked over "what?" i asked confusingly as a flash went off. "what are you doing here this is for cometitors and and friends only.." viktor said. "well i got what i need" she said winking at hermonie and harry "what?" i asked them. "nothing" hermonie said shaking her head. "what are you going to do are you ok?" hermonie asked. "im just gonna wing it, and im suprisingly ok" i said nodding my head. hermonie gave me a weird look but just shrugged. "good day chapions, gather round please, now you've waited and wondered and the moment is finally here." dumboldore said "miss granger what are you doing here?!" dumboldore asked. "umm ill just go" hermonie said arkwardly "i need you all to promise to do your best! katrina im talking to you" dumbolodre said facing me. i groaned a nodded "ok fine.... i promise to do my best" i said sadly. the others promised too. "barty the bag!" dumboldore said "alright everyone gather around me please! fluer over here, then krum here, then cedric, harry right here, and then katrina here. now fluer if you would please start." barty said fluer put her hand in the bag and flinched with pain because i think it bit her. "the welsh green" crouch said. "krum..". viktor put his hand in the bag and picked one out "the chinese fireball! ooooo!" crouch said turning to cedric. "the swedish short snout." barty said as cedric pulled his out. he turned to harry and harry got the hungarian horntail "now miss katrina" barty said. i put my hand in and felt instant pain, of course it took me a few seconds to realise but something had bit me. my eyes widened "whats wrong?" harry asked. i lifted my hand to find a dragon had suken its teeth into my hand and was just hanging there. "i think..it just bit me" i said taking it off of my hand and holding it in my other hand. maxine gasped and so did dumboldore "l-l-lord of the dragons..." crouch said in disbelief "it  only attacks if it thinks your a threat... like this one did." dumboldore said to me. i sighed "this ones gonna be hard isnt it" i wispered to harry "yep" he wispered back. "These represent fiver very real dragons, each of which has been given a golden egg to protect. Your objective is simple: collect the egg. This you must do, for each egg contains a clue without which you cannot hope to proceed to the next task. Any questions? " barty said. "very well mr diggory when you hear the canon you need-" dumboldore started but was cut off by a big boom. there was a chant of cheers calling out diggory! one by one the champions left till it was just me and harry "good luck" i said to him. he gave me a really big hug "please be careful and you promised to try your best so you have too" harry said quickly. "dont worry i will be and you too" i said just as quick. he nodded and the canon went off. fear struck his eyes "its ok youll be fine!" i said as he walked down the steps. i closed my eyes. please be ok! after a while my canon went off.... ahhhH! i walked down to find everyone cheering kat! i walked out arkwardly and looked around the dragon gates opened and this holy freaking huge gianormus dragon! it looked down at me and its eyes went red...oh shizzley. it opened it mouth and a wave of fire was sent at me. i put my hands in front of my face awaiting pain and it never came... i opened my eyes too see flames on me around me... but nothing was burning. now its my turn... once the fire stopped everyone gasped and clapped and cheered. comon i need to channel my dragon thingy!!!! i started feeling really hot and i started boling up i saw my self flame up yes its working! a fire dragon came out of me and it was the size of this dragon. bigger i need it too be bigger! i focused more of my power and my dragon grew bigger i spread my arms out and thats what my dragon did, the lord of the dragons ran back inside its cage afraid of my dragon. everyone cheered loudly and roars of cheers came from them too i keept my dragon there and picked up the red and orange egg. they closed the dragons gates and everyone cheered. i stopped my fire dragon and smiled brightly, not cause i got the egg but cause i didnt die! i saw harry fluer and cedric and viktor in the crowd with there eggs too.  i was about to walk out when a dome suddenly appeared over the fighting bit of the arena all the exits and entrances were blocked. everyone was gasping "kat! kat!" i heard dumboldore on the emplify "is this part of the test?!" i shouted "no someone has locked you in the fighting arena...someones interferried with the system!" dumboldore shouted. everyone gasped and wispered. there was an evil laugh and then a voice "aww is poor little kitty kat stuck?" he cooed evily somepeople screamed with fear suddenly dirt started forming a human form. what the!!!! "who are you?" i said unafraid. "ahhahaha you dont need to know that" the man evily said. "mmmk but you know my name...its only fair i know yours" i said sitting down on a rock. "shut it!" the man shouted "but-" i started "SHUT! IT!" the man shouted. everyone sat there in silence "ok" i said just to get on his nerves. he cursed loudly in anger "calm ya farm" i said widening my eyes "arent you afraid!" he shouted stepping forward "eh ive been in worse sitchuations" i said calmly shrugging "what if i hurt you.." the man said evily "you really wanna try" i said flaming up. the man fumbled back "thought so" i saidlying down comfortable. he laughed eviliy again. i stod up "what is wrong with you!" i exclaimed. he opened the gate for the dragon again "oh..." i sighed. the dragon came running at me again. it stomped at where i was standing and there where screams and gasps and more screams. i jumped out the way and was seriously pissed. "IT IS NOT NICE TO TRY AND STOMP ON PEOPLE FOR NO GOOD REASON!" i shouted at the dragon angrily. the dragon backed up in fear as i moved forward "NOW SIT DOWN SO I CAN SEE YOUR FACE!" I yelled angrily. the dragon sat down and faced me "good, now you oughta be assamed of yourself!" i shouted but less angrily. the dragon wimpered sadly "are you sorry?" i asked it. it nodded its head and looked at me with those cute big brown eyes "awwwww i forgive you!" i said patting its head. it was kinda like a dog. it did a happy dragon sound "you should go to bed now" i said hugging him..or her i cant tell. the dragon snuggled his head into me and then ran off. the hodded man shouted angrily. " i will get you valentine... mark my words" he said getting in my face. he grabbed my hair and started pulling it. "ow!" i shouted in pain. "what little girl does it hurt" he said twisting my arm "hey did i tell you something... im a black belt in karate" i said reversing his arm in a twist then flipping him over my shoulder. he groaned in pain "whats that?" he asked in pain "oh sorry let me translate, the one of the higest grades in kicking peoples butt...with skill." i said knocking him out by pressing a presure point. everyone cheered and clapped and laughed. i climed on of the rocky walls and stood up on on of the slopes. i saw the griffindor side and they were trying to brake down the dome...hey i wonder "move back" i shout to them. they all do what i say and move back...way back. i close my eyes and clunch my fists. i felt power rush to my fists. i opened my eyes and saw red forces around my fists i punched the dome as hard as i could and it broke! yay! freedom! everyone cheered as i climbed out. harry, then hermonie then ron attacked me in hugs. "are you ok?!" harry asks frantically. "im fine" i said as they get off of me "what are we going to do about...him" i said pointing to the dead looking man inside. "we'll handle him" barty said shaking my hand "shes a veela! veela i say!" maxine said rushing to where we were "she should be at  beauxbatons. "im not a veela" i said shaking my head. "shes really not" hermonie said. this lady just wont give up. i then got attacked by pansy, kass, maggs, liz, susan, cho, megs, cathy, bella (3rd year), ginny, patil, lavendar, just every single one of my friends! "guys im fine!" i protest "how! you just had to defeat a dragon, then get stuck in a dome, then an evil dude shows up and wants to kill you! then realses the dragon again! then attacks you! how are you fine!" pansy quickly shouts "well... worst things have happened" i said calmly "how are you so chilled about this!" susan said shaking my shoulders. "im just a calm person?" i askedish. "who happens to get into near death experiences" hermonie added "and who happens to be the most powerful person on earth" ginny added. "and who happens to be very smart" liz said "but very dumb" pansy added nodding her head. "ok i get it!" I shouted. everyone laughed and shook there heads. i then got attacked bye fluer "how! you were like! and then he was like! and then you were! and then the dragon was like!....just how!" she exclaimed "i didnt understand a word you just said" i said trying to progress what happened. everyone laughed and fluer just stood in awe. "alright give miss valentine some space... come with me" proffessor mcongal said "am i in trouble" i said cringing my nose "whatever for?" mcongal laughed with the others "nothing..." i said looking side to side guilty. she laughed with everyone else and she lead me to who knows where!

harrys p.o.v 

we were in the comon room and everyone was cheering. "should i open it!" i shout to them "yes!" they all shouted "should i open it!" i shouted again "yess!" they shouted louder. there was a screeching noise from the egg. i shut it quickly and recovered from that god awful noise. " what the bloody hell was that" ron shouted walking in. everyone went silent "in guessing you opened yours up too" kat said hitting her ear. i smiled as she sat down with hermonie "alright everyone go back to your knitting this is going to be arkward enough without you nosey suds listening in" fred said. "i reakon you'd have to be barking mad to but your name in the goblet." ron said "caught on have you? took ya long enough" i snapped "everyone was saying it behind your back" ron said "brilliant that makes me feel heaps betta" i said sarcastically. "at least i warned you about the dragons" ron said "no hagrid did" i said. "no-no-no , I did. No, don't you remember? I told Hermione to tell you that Seamus told me that Parvati told Dean that Hagrid was looking for you. Seamus never actually told me anything, so it was- it was really me all along. I thought we'd be alright after." ron explained. "who-who could possible figure that out, thats compeletely mental." i said confused. "boys" hermone said "agreed" kat said shaking her head.
