the next night we went to slughorns party thing and there was a few others there too. "so cormac hows your uncle?" slughorn asked "yes sir hes great in fact im meant to go hunting with him and the minister of magic over the holidays "well be sure to give them both my best" slughorn said. "what about your uncle belby, for those who dont know marcus' uncle invented the wolfsbane potion" slughorn said. i looked over at the kid who was stuffing his face with food, more than ron and i. "is he working on anything new?" slughorn asked "dont know, him and dad dont het on. probably because me dad says potions are ribbish. says the only potion worth having is a stiff at the end of the dsay" marcus said. slughorn looked at him with dissapointment. "and katrina? hows good old elviston?" slughorn said "er. gramps died a couple of years ago, its a shame because he was inventing a potion that made you the smartest person on earth for a total of 5 hours and i think he said it had something to do with battle sratergies and the futuer..he was always thinking about the future" i said. "sorry for your loss, but thats amazing did he finish it?" slughorn asked intrieged "no. he was fixing glinches in the potion and things like that, and no one knew what was in it because he never wrote anything down. had it all stored in his brain" i said. "wow, quite some family you have there, and hows being the most powerful person in the world?" he asked. "errrrrr....i dont know....it has its goods and bads." i said "i here your a target for death" a kid said. everyone suddenly said things like. oh yer! death magnet she is! trouble maker. "oi... it sounds really bad when you say it, like it happens every year!" i whinned. "kat, thats cause it does happen every year" hermonie giigled. "oh.." i said looking into space zoning out. i heard hermonie talking and slughorn and there was a knock on the door. ginny walked in all teary and sad. "who do i need to beat up" i said sternly. everyone snickered "its ok im fine" ginny said sitting next to me. "mmmmmmmmhm" isaid  staring at her. she just looked down at the ground. the dinner ended and i walked down with hermonie and ginny "seriously ginny who do i need to kill" i said smiling "dean and i just had a fight.." she said sadly. i know she doesnt like him! she loves draco and he loves her but hes in a very very very bad sitch right now. how did everything get so messed up! we went to bed so confused about everything. the next morning was the quich match and it was rons first game! "i smiled when he came forward in his uniform. people were yelling really mean things "shut it" i said turning to them or whoever was yelling it. well they stopped the mean name calling. "thanks kat" he said sitting down "anytime." i said. he looked pale and sick. he looked down at his food in disgust. "so how was it then?" ron said snappily "was what?" hermonie asked "your dinner party" ron said sassily "pretty boring actually" i answered "slughorns having a christmas do you know and were meant to bring someone" hermoie said. well ill be going with harry so thats settle "i expect you'll be bringing mclaggen, hes in the slug club isnt he" ron said. "actually i was going to ask you" hermonie said. "really?" ron asked. well somethings going on there. "good luck today ron i know you'll be brilliant" lavendar said happily and flirtly. "im resigning. after todays match, mclaggen can have my spot!" ron protested "have it your way" harry said pushing a drink over to him. "juice" harry said. "sure.." ron said putting it up to his lips "hello everyone, you look dreadful ron, is that why you put something in his cup?" luna asked. we saw a bottle in harrys hand. he put it back behind him. "liquid luck" i said. "dont drink it ron." hermonie said. but it was too late ron drank the drink with a big gulp. "you could be expelled for that" hermonie said. "i dont know what your talking about" harry said quickly. "come on ron, we have a match to win." harry said they got up and walked to the feild. hermonie and i went later. the ball was flying everywhere! ron caught all of the goals thrown at him. they were ganging up on ron and zambini had the ball! he trow it well but ron caught it! i stood up and cheered with the rest of the team! we won!!!!! we won!!! we were back in the comon room and everyone was chanting weasley! "you really shouldnt of done it" i said to harry even though i was happy we won. " i know. i suppose i couldve just used yhe confundus charm" harry said looking at hermonie and grabbing my hand "that was diffrent! that was tryouts this was a game!" hermonie protested. harry showed us the little vile of luck. "you didnt actually use it..just made him think you did" i said to harry. he nodded his head...that was smart... lavandar pulled ron down from where he was standing and literally jumped on him kissing him! my jaw dropped as everyone cheered. i smiled and shook my head. then i remembered...hermonie. i looked back to see her running away. "i got this" i said running after her. i heard sobbing  and turned a coner down some steps to see her bauling her little heart out. "did it hurt like this...when you saw harry and cho" hermonie asked as i sat down and hugged her. "yer...pretty much just like this." i said as she rested her head on my shoulder. harry came down and sat next to me "are you ok?" he asked her."yer....no" she said breaking down into more tears. ron and lavandar came down and then looked at us "this room is taken...lets go" she said dragging him with her...jeez. hermonie trotted herself back up wanting to be alone. "aw..." i said sadly standing up. harry wrapped his arms around my waist from behind "yer i know..." he said sadly " ive never seen her like this" i said resting my head. " i have in year 4 where you died, well we thought you'd died." harry said. i giggled and turned to face him. "hey promise me something" harry said. "its nothing impossible right?" i asked putting my arms around his neck "you'll never say you hate me" harry said. "well thats easy to promise" i said leaning in and kissing him slowly, i pulled away and he pouted "i should go check on hermonie i said removing myself "but she wanted to be alone" harry said grabbing my hand i laughed "when girls say they want to be alone..its only for like five minutes." i said walking up to our dorm to find a broken hermonie. we where in the libary picking up books and hermonie was ranting about it again "hes perfectly allowed to kiss who ever he likes, i really couldnt care less, was i under the impression that he and i would attend slughorns christmas party? yes. well now giving the circumstances ive had to make other arrangements" hermonie said. i looked at harry and he looked at me "what kind of other arrangements?" i asked. i wore my red sparkley dress with pink flats and waited for harry. i felt arms wrap around me but no spark..i removed the hands and turned around to find seamus "seamus...you dont like me do you...please say you dont" i asked "kat i do..." he said. "stop! no you dont, and you know you dont. please were only friends, you and i both know that." i said as he looked at the floor "your confused seamus.." i said softly "i dont know what to do." he said sadly " i love pansy but she loves draco but he loves god knows who" seamus said. ginny... "so go win her heart..dont give up" i said. "thanks kat" he said giving me a hug and then walking off "was that seamus?" harry asked as he walked up to me "yer i just told him not to give up on pansy" i said grabbing harrys hands "you look amazing love" harry said giving me a peck "thank you" i said as we walked to the party. i saw hermonie dash behind a curtain thing so i followed "hermonie what are you doing?" i asked her "hiding from my date" she said looking at cormac "you came with cormac?" i said suprisingly "i thought it would piss ron off the most." hermonie said regretting her choice. "oh hes coming!" she squealed and ran away. cormac entered the curtains "do you know where hermine is?" cormac asked "i think she went to get a drink" i said entering and then i saw harry enter. i looked around a bit for hermonie when neville aproached me "would you like a drink?" he asked "neville? your waiting here?" i asked "long story. dont worry" neville said. 

it was breakfast and i was wondering how katie was. i saw harry follow draco outside...i felt someone tap my shoulder and i turned round to see katie "katie! how are you!?" i asked  as she sat down "umm could you please..use your healing powers my head hurts a bit.." katie said. "of course!" i said grabbing her hand. she sighed in relief. "thank you kat" she said hugging me "its ok, feel better" i said as she got up and walked away. i got up and walked out to try and find draco. "you have to be careful" i heard snape shout. i wish i was invisable.. i waked out "im trying professor..this is to much on me!" draco shouted back "well you have no choice" snape said coldly walking away. draco broke down in a puddle of tears. i wish i was visable.. i ran up and hugged draco tightly "k-kat" draco stuttered "im here for you, its ok" i said rubbing his back "this is to much for me...i cant handle it. i cant do this" draco said. he looked sickly pale, the poor thing. i already guessed voldermort wanted him to kill dumboldore with everything thats going on with him "its alright ok calm down. it'll be ok, if someone does kill dumboldore i can just bring him back to life." i said wiping his tears. he nodded and sniffled "and then it wont be your fault, and if you know...you do die...ill be there to bring you back to life as well" i said fixing his messed up hair. he nodded and stood up. "thanks kat" he said calmer. "im there if you need, just call" i said tapping my fore head and walking away. we where sitting in the common room staring at harrys book "you have to get rid of it. today." i said sitting next to harry harry nodded his head. we were in the room of requirements "lets go" i said grabbing harrys hand. we walked into the room and looked around at all the objects "we need to hide the half blood princes book, where no one will ever find it, including you." i said. there was a birdy kinda tweeting noise "what was that?" we said at the same time. it was from a cupboard. harry went and opened it and a bird flew out of it. "see? you'll never know what you'll find up here" i said moving closer. i took the book out of his hands slowly, i think he may have seperation aniexty. "alright then close your eyes that way you cant be tempted" i said walking backwards "close your eyes" i wispered. he closed them and i hid the book some where. i walked back up to harry. i kissed him slowly and pulled away. "i could stay here hidden too if ya like" i said as he opened his eyes. he chuckled and took my hand as we walked out.
