Dark followed you upstairs, and you returned back to your room.

"That... was nice, Dark," you smiled at him, and he chuckled.

"Well, pretty good first try for a demon, if I do say so myself," he replied with a smirk, then closed the door, saving you from an awkward goodnight. You hopped on the bed with nothing to change into, so you snuggled under the blankets and immediately fell asleep with a good dream, knowing tomorrow would be a good day.

Oh, how your thoughts jinx things.

* In the middle of the night *

"(Y/N)! Wake up!" you heard in a whispery voice close to your ear. Your eyes shot open, and there was a dark silhouette above you. Before you could scream, it covered your mouth so it muffled your voice. "Relax, (Y/N). It's me, Anti," he said. Then you recognized his accent, his smooth voice, and you calmed down. He moved his hand from your mouth, and you both sat up.

"What's going on?" you asked quietly.

"I'm rescuing you, so stay quiet. Come on, we have to go," he whispered hurriedly, tugging at your arm gently.

"N-no, Anti, you don't understand," you objected, lightly pulling your arm away from his grasp. He turned around, and even though it was dark, you could sense the confusion and hurt on his face. "Dark's okay, really. He's bringing me home tomorrow. He's not keeping me here anymore."

"Did he say that to you?" he questioned, walking closer to you. You can feel his breath, a peppermint smell hiding another scent, a rotten one. "He's lying, you realize. He's bringing down your guard so he can use you, then kill you when he's done. I know him, I've seen what he's done to people when he's finished with them. You have to trust me, (Y/N). I can get you out, but you have to trust me."

"I...." you hesitated, looking at the door. Two options. One, go with Anti, and leave Dark. He wasn't that nice to you anyways... right? He did kidnap you, after all. Two, refuse Anti and make him go away, and wait until morning to see what Dark does to you, whether it's return you or torture you. Pick a demon, and hope you chose correctly... was there even a correct choice? If there was... what will it be?

"I'm your friend, (Y/N)," Anti whispered pleadingly in your ear.

"I do need practice in caring for someone... and I guess you're my test subject," you remembered Dark saying with a sly smirk on his face.

Oh, crap.

================

I know this was a short chapter, but I need your help. The option you pick won't really affect the ending or anything, just the next chapter(s) maybe. If you want to see both options, I'll figure something out, but I like reader participation, it feels like I'm doing something with my life. So, yeah. Again, sorry this was short, and...

Anti, or Dark?
