As you walked back to campus, you saw a silhouette, standing behind a tree. Was he... watching you? You decided to quicken your pace, ignoring him, whoever - or whatever - it was. Suddenly, he stepped in front of you, and you looked up at his face quickly, startled. He had black hair, black as the night sky (since Mark dyed it back recently I guess). But his eyes were strange. Where there were supposed to be irises, there was just black. In fact, every part of his eyes were black, even the scleras, and sent shivers down your spine.

"G-get away from me," you stuttered, backing away quickly. He smiled, but it wasn't kind and warm like Anti's. It was cold, and empty, like he was thinking of the best and fastest way to kill you.

"Don't worry, (Y/N). I'll be out of your hair soon enough," he told you quietly, leaning closer. You could feel his breath on your ear. "Just as long as you do what I say."

"No way, creep. I said back off!" you shouted, scared now. How did he know your name? How did he know you?

"Oh, of course. You obviously don't recognize me, do you?" he chuckled, shaking his head. How did he know what you were thinking?! "Maybe this will boost your memory?" he asked, and a black shadow-like figure took his place, even though you were standing in bright daylight. It was black, and in a vague shape of a person, around the man's height. Your eyes widen as you realize what he was.

"You were that thing I saw with Lillian!" you exclaimed, backing away. He tilted his head knowingly, but didn't reply. Then the man came back, with a wide grin on his face.

"Guilty as charged," he shrugged. "Now, do you trust me?"

"I-I don't know about that," you hesitated, unsure. "I don't know anything about you."

"Well, I guess I'll have to stay like that then," he told me.

"Hey, you were the one who came up to me, okay? So the least you could do is tell me your name. Then, just maybe, I might trust you," you growled, getting annoyed at his stupid game. He let out a deep sigh, his smile fading.

"Alright then, (Y/N). My name is Dark," he stated, and vanished into thin air. You look around yourself, but no one was even in the park. Shaken, you head back to your room, unsure whether to tell Lillian or not.

* Back at your room *

"Oh, thank God you're back, (Y/N)!" you heard Lillian cry as soon as you open the door. "I need your help with something!"

"What do you need?" you asked, slipping off your sneakers and heading into her room. A lot of glass was scattered on the floor, and the broken remains of Lillian's laptop lay right beside them, laying on the side.

"I got really tired, so I closed my eyes for a second, and my laptop fell!" she explained hysterically. Tears were streaming down her face as she panicked, unsure what to do with her now useless scrap metal.

"Calm down, Lillian. Use mine, you weren't that far into your assignment anyways," you sighed, handing her your laptop. "If you break this one, I will never forgive you."

"Thanks, (Y/N), I owe you!" she laughed, suddenly in a good mood, and went back to the desk, turning it on. "Could you clean up?"

"Sure, fine," you sighed, and grabbed a dustpan to brush up the shattered glass. As you clean up, you noticed something by one of the shards. Careful not to cut yourself, you picked it up, and after careful studying, you realize what it is.

A... black flower petal? A rose, more specifically.

"Lillian, does this belong to you?" you asked, holding it up for her to see. She glanced at it, then shook her head and returned back to the screen, intent on getting back to where she was.

"Doesn't look like anything I own," she mumbled distractledly. You shrugged and put it with the glass, cleaning the rest of it up. After putting it in the trash, you wiped your hands and collapsed on your bed, exhausted from an excruciating long day. After a few seconds, you fall asleep with the sound of clacking keyboard keys and a faint whispering in your ear.

I need you, whispered two voices. A voice thick with an Irish accent, and a low, smooth voice, at the same time.

For what? you thought to yourself, but there was no answer.
