"(Y-Y/N)?" you heard behind you. You spun around quickly, your heart speeding up for some strange reason. There, you saw Dark and Anti sitting on two wooden chairs, chained up. Anti was gagged, but not blindfolded, and Dark was blindfolded but not gagged. You automatically assumed that he was the one that spoke. In front of them was a table, and a pistol.
"And here we are," a familiar drawling voice sighed. "At the end of everything." You tried to speak, but no words came out. "Hush, baby girl. Don't speak."
"Wilford, what do you want?!" Dark shouted, sounding... terrified? That was a first.
"Simple," the moustached man answered calmly. "I want (Y/N) to choose."
"Mff umph!" Anti shouted behind the gag, but you couldn't understand a word he was saying.
"He's here, too?!" Dark growled, his tone changing from scared to angry. Anti screamed something, turning to him, and it sounded oddly like swearing.
"Stop arguing, boys," Wilford snapped, and turned back to you. "Now choose." He picked the gun up from the table, and handed it to you.
"No." Your voice was harsh, angrier than usual.
"Excuse me?" he hissed. You turned to him, and repeated it louder.
"NO!"
"Do it, now! Or I'll kill them both!" he ordered, walking behind Dark and taking out his own gun, placing it at the back of his head.
"Get it over with, bastard!" Dark roared, looking behind him as much as possible. You knew who you had to pick.
"I choose," you growled. Wilford smirked, and lowered the gun. You saw Dark slouch in his chair, hiding his relief as much as possible.
"And who will you kill, dear darling?" he asked. You raised the gun.
"You," you said, but before you could pull the trigger, he just laughed.
"You don't want to do that," he replied. "Do you want to know why? Because I'm-" Then you opened your eyes.
*
You shot up from your bed, panting. (A/N: Hey, who's pissed at me now?)
No, no, no, what was Wilford?! I need to go back, you thought to yourself, but after a few minutes of tossing and turning in your bed, trying to get back to your dream, you knew it was impossible. Accepting defeat, you sighed and slipped out of bed, and after throwing a thin blanket over your shoulders, you headed downstairs, wondering if Anti was awake.
"Is anyone down here?" you called quietly, half whispering in case Anti was asleep. You didn't need to worry about him being asleep. Anti was sitting on the couch, head down as if he was in deep thought, hands clenched together tightly. He seemed to be mumbling to himself. You decided not to bother him, in case he lost his train of thought. Instead, you waited, and after a few minutes, Anti sighed, ran his fingers through his tangled hair, and stood up. When he turned around, he jumped and yelped slightly, startled by your appearance.
"How long have you been there?!" he demanded, crossing his arms angrily.
"Not long," you mumbled, and yawned. "Bad dream. What's up with you?"
"I was praying," he retorted sarcastically. You simply shrugged and turned around.
"I'll go back up," you said, and started to head upstairs.
"Wait, wait," you heard Anti sigh, and you grinned before turning back around.
"Yes, Anti?" After a bit, he offered,
"I'll make you coffee." You nodded, making yourself comfortable on his couch, where he so kindly cleaned up for you. You heard the brewer running, and then it stopped, then Anti handed you a mug of the good stuff. (Okay, confession time. Never had coffee before. Ever. ;-;) You thanked him and sipped it slowly.
"Now, what was your bad dream?" Anti asked, taking a seat beside you. "You can tell Uncle Anti."
"Ha ha, Anti. Shut up," you mumbled, and took another sip. "It was just really weird," you started. "And you, Dark and Wilford were in it."
"Dark and Wilford? I already don't like it," Anti growled. "What were we doing?"
"Dark and you were tied to a chair, and Wilford was telling me to kill either one of you," you told him. "Then, he was going to tell me he was something, but I woke up before I could get to that."
"Wilford wanting you to kill us?" he scoffed. "Well, I did sort of... you know what? Never mind, just finish your coffee," he sighed, and became quiet. The silence was heavy.
"Why did you come to my school?" you questioned after a while.
"I needed to make sure you were safe," he answered. "But I was too late, obviously. Dark came to the party." Then he became quiet once more, and you put your mug on the coffee table in front of you. You stared at the silent tv in front of you, and it seemed like the silence was drowning you. Finally, you asked the one question that was on your mind ever since Anti explained to you why he hated Dark so much.
"So... are you alright?"
