Me and a few writers decided to make a day to appreciate all authors of everything. It doesn't matter if their stories are good or bad, but if they tried. Unless they are purposely trying to make it horrible. (Actually wait... that's still trying.)
I personally think it's great that so many people tried out writing. I know I don't have many followers, but I hope that a lot of people spread the message. Send love to some authors whether they write on wattpad or fanfiction.net or another site that people can write stories on. Just show some love.
Tell someone something that you like about one of their books.
I hope this will be remembered every year, and that authors will spread love to everyone.
Today is January 20th and I hope, even though it's not a real holiday, that this will be something to happen every year. Even if this doesn't reach many people, I still hope so.
Sorry if I'm repeating myself a lot, but I think it's really important to point out something that someone's doing good in their writing at least once rather than pointing out all of their flaws and tearing them apart. It is ok to tell someone something they can improve on, but if you do that, please do it in a nice way. Also, if you don't have something good to say to someone about their stories or even about them, please don't say it at all.
