Adrien

I jumped through my window just before transforming back to my normal self.

I rolled over onto the ground, closing my eyes and putting my hands over my forehead.

"You okay Adrien?" Asked Plagg from over my shoulder.

I turned to look at my Kwami, seeing distress in his tiny green eyes.

"No, I'm not okay. This whole situation with Ladybug and now Marinette! I don't what's happening anymore." I said, frustrated and exhausted.

"Do you really think that Ladybug blocked it all out?" He asked, floating over into my view.

"It's the only explanation I can think of, to be fair, I'd want to block out something like that too if it were me." I said, sitting up and laying my arms over my knees.

"I guess, but I also can't see how she did that, people don't just forget what happened to them, especially something tragic like that situation." He said, making a fair point. But I had to be right, I just knew I had to.

"I don't know Plagg, the whole thing is a huge mess. I just need to see her again and fix all of this." I puffed, standing up only to collapse onto my bed and kick off my shoes.

"There is nothing you can fix, this was her mistake not hers. When will you stop being so blind just because you love her?" He complained, making my blood boil under my skin.

"Look! I know it was her doing okay? I just want to help her so we can clean up this mess and be done with it!" I said, feeling my face heat up with anger.

Plagg inched away from me, holding up his paws, "Look Kid, I know you're upset; however, you need to calm down and stop blaming yourself for what happened."

I took a deep breath, rubbing my temples with my fingertips.

"I know...I just...we're hero's Plagg. I guess I knew this was going to happen, I just didn't think it would be to her." I said, reliving the image of her face when she dropped that sword...

"She did what she had to, The Mercenary gave her no choice." He said, trying to comfort me.

"There's always a choice, I just don't get how she could...whatever. I'll talk to her later during patrol. Not to mention trying to explain everything to Marinette." I said, groaning and laying my head on my bed.

"Do you really think you should tell Marinette?" He asked doubtfully, raise a brow and laying down in his makeshift bed.

"She's my friend, she deserves to know." I said, pulling my blankets over me and reaching over to turn off my lamp.

"Yeah, but she's only friends with you when you're Chat Noir." He said, making me groan.

"I can handle it." And with that, I finally found sleep.
