Ladybug
School was a blur today.
All I could think about was what Chat Noir had told me that previous night.
The way he talked about me and the things he said made me even more concerned of what I could've possibly done.
So there I sat; I couldn't help thinking about his words and how he said he would be back that night.
But night time felt so far away with all of my anticipation and wandering thoughts.
I thought about his white smile and his green eyes on mine, and for the first time, I realized how different he was in front of me as Marinette.
He seemed so friendly, and willing to take on anything that I had to say.
But as Ladybug, he would be quite the charmer, and a perfect Romeo.
A Romeo who's Juliet loved another.
My thoughts were interrupted by the sight of Chat Noir bounding from rooftops to reach me.
When he finally did, he took my hand in his and kissed the top of it, something I've grown to find flattering.
"My Lady," he greeted me.
"Chaton," I replied.
He let go of my hand, standing beside me and looking out into the setting sun.
"How late do you want to patrol? I have a thing I have to go to, but I can stay till about 2 in the morning," he said.
We usually stayed out pretty late during patrol, that's why I was always tired in class and had lower grades then I had ever had before.
"Midnight would be good, I have things I have to do as well," I said, and smiled a small smile.
"Sounds lovely. So, how was your day Bugga Boo?" he asked, making me playfully roll my eyes at the silly nickname.
"Alright I guess, I had my mind going places today," I said.
Chat cocked his head and raised a brow, "What do you mean?"
"It's hard to explain, but a...friend of mine told me some things yesterday that really needed to be thought over. Heck, I still need to think about it," I said, trying hard not to sound too obvious.
"Is it something I should be concerned about?" he asked, biting the inside of his cheek.
He had a tendency of doing that when he was nervous or upset about something.
"No no, it's just...drama," I lied, "let's just drop it. I need to focus on other things."
He nodded and looked back at the orange-pink sunset that was rolling out onto the sky.
The colors looked like someone had coated the sky with watercolors, and was slowly turning it into a beautiful masterpiece.
Usually Paris didn't have such a lovely view of the sunset, but tonight was special.
I looked at all of the beautiful vibrant colors and smiled, "The sky is so pretty tonight. Don't you think?"
Chat nodded, "It really is, but it still isn't as beautiful as you, My Lady."
I smiled wider, "Thanks Kitty."
He gave me a confused look.
"Did you just accept one of my compliments?" he asked, laughing a little bit at his own remark.
I giggled, "I like them sometimes."
"Oh really?" he asked, bouncing his eyebrows and laughing a bit more.
"Silly Kitty," I said, shaking my head and looking over at the sky again.
We sat in silence for a little while, just watching for anything that could cause trouble, but I mainly focused on the fact that I was going to find out what was going on later tonight.
Finally, no more worrying
Chat nudged me with his elbow, making me look in his direction.
"Truth or dare?"
"You're a child, Chaton."
"Just answer the question."
"Truth."
He sat and thought for a moment, "What's your name?"
His question surprised me, "I can't tell you that Chat."
"Please, or at least a nickname," he asked, making me sigh.
"For now, call me Mari," I finally decided.
"Mari," he whispered, feeling the words on his tongue.
"Truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you to tell me your name."
"I can't do that, but you an call me Andy for now."
I thought about that name for a while.
Andy?
"Truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"Tell me your real name."
"Game over, you lose."
