*4 MONTHS LATER...*

"are you sure we did?"
"yes zoey, i'm positive we had homework last night, jeez"

i chuckle to myself as i stuff the remainder of my books into the top shelf of my locker. i grab a pen from my bag and then shut it closed.
i begin waking, signaling for zoey to follow me on our way to first period.

i haven't spoken to him in what feels like forever.
it's completely different now.
we used to acknowledge each other.
he's moved on, he has a girlfriend now and he is happy with her.
i have my eye on a boy
i made the volleyball team, and became the school photographer for the yearbook, and i also joined journalism.
but it's strange, because it's like we don't know each other. part of me missed him.
he has gotten more popular. he made the football team, and also is the captain now. he is the guy everyone talks about. every guy wishes to be him and every girl wants to date him.

and then here i am.... he will never notice me, i'm just a nobody to him now, and
and i always will be
