Chapter 25

Calum's POV

We sat there, staring at our tiny baby girl. So innocent, so weak... I felt so helpless watching her hooked up to the machines. Raini broke down in my arms. I just kissed her forehead and held her fragile body in my arms.

Raini was in a wheelchair as she was still sore from the caesarean. I mean who wouldnt be after having surgery. I get my phone out and take a picture of our little girl. Her incbator was like a bubble, protecting her from the outside world.

"Raini, we need to think of a name..."-Calum

"I-I Know..."-Raini

"Well I always liked the name Alyssa for a girl..."-Calum

"I was thinking something along the lines of Faith,Destiny or Joy, since this happened, I want a name that suits our little Miracle."-Raini

"Well, How About Alyssa-Hope?"-Calum

"Alyssa-Hope Worthy... Thats Perfect, I Love It!"-Raini

She kisses me on the lips and then snuggles into my arms.

"What are we gonna do? What if shes not strong enough and dont make it?"-Raini

"Hey! Dont think like that, okay? She's a Worthy! She'll make it! She's our little Miracle Fighter! It just takes time!"-Calum

"Thank you..."-Raini

"For what?"-Calum

"For staying positive, without you i'd be a wreck, I wouldnt beable to cope with everything, thanks for being supportive, I love you so much!"-Raini

"I love you too!"-Calum

After sitting there staring at Alyssa-Hope for what seemed like forever, a nurse came in and said we would need to leave as Raini needed alot of rest. It was horrible leaving Alyssa but we were certain, as soon as Raini was awake we'd come back down to the 'Special Care Baby Unit'.

I sat at Raini's bedside as she lay sleeping uneasily. Just then my phone began vibrating in my pocket. I pulled it out and checked the Caller ID. Ross.

"Hey Dude, Where Are You? Its Kinda Late..."-Ross

"Umm... Im At The Hospital..."-Calum

"What? Why? Is Everything Okay?"-Ross

"Yeah,No, I Dont Know..."-Calum

"Whats Going On?"-Ross

"Dont Tell Anybody Just Yet, Raini Had The Baby, A Beautiful Baby Girl..."-Calum

"Woah... Isnt It A Bit Early? Is Everything Okay?"-Ross

"Well, We Arent Sure If Everything Okay Yet, The Baby Is Severely Weak, Shes Barely Holding On. She's In The 'Special Care Baby Unit' At The Moment, She's In An Incubator, Theres Loads Of Machines Hooked Up To Her... Its Heartbreaking To See. Raini Had To Have An Emergency Caecarean, She's Recovering Aswell At The Moment."-Calum

"Oh Man, Thats Gotta Suck, I Have No Idea How You're Feeling Right Now! I Send My Wishes To You All! Want Me To Tell The Rest Of Them? Nicoles Worried Sick Right Now, Wondering Where You Are!"-Ross

"Thanks Dude, I Really Appreciate It! Can You Also Tell Them Not To Come Up Tonight, They All Need Their Rest! I Think It May Overwhelm Raini Aswell. Come By Tomorrow If You Want? Oh, One More Thing Before I Forget, Can You Please Call Raini's Brother Rico And Let Him Know Whats Going On Please, He'll Tell Raini's Other Brothers! Thanks Bro, It Means Alot!"-Calum

"No Problem Man, I'll Tell Them Now, Done,Done And Done, Ill See You Tomorrow, Bye."-Ross

And With That He Hangs Up.
