Raini's POV

I was growing impatient waiting for my baby to come, I still have a month to go. If the baby comes early it could be dangerous. With twins it's fine but since I'm only carrying one I'm trying to make sure I don't go into early labour. Today Calum & I need to get a few things for Lorenzo's birthday, which is in a week. Calum drives because I can't until the baby is born. We go to the mall and walk around. We go to a few stores, buying things he would like. Just as we are about to go into the next store a guy wearing a mask runs out of a jewellery store, Calum catches him but the guy trips and knocks me over and onto the floor. I double over in pain, clutching onto my stomach as Calum beats the guy up and the mall cop arrests the guy. Calum comes to my side and I start crying, my stomach was really hurting, I begin panicking as people crowd around, Calum calls an ambulance and I feel something wet in between my legs and I know something's wrong.

"R-Raini There's Blood!"-Calum

"WHAT?!?!"-Raini

Paramedics run in and place me on a stretcher, they rush me into the ambulance and hook me up to some machines in the ambulance.

The ride to the hospital was painful and anticipating. As soon as I got there, nurses rushed over, I was put in a room and they gave me an ultrasound.

"WE NEED TO GET THE BABY OUT NOW!"-Dr Jensen

I was crying hysterically and worry was plastered onto Calum's face.

"We're gonna have to give her an emergency caesarean!"-Dr Jensen

I was rushed into theatre and they numbed my stomach. I lay there looking up at the bright lights, Calum holding my hand, I don't hear a cry as they hold my baby up, Calum cut the cord and they take my baby away.

My baby... what's wrong with my baby?

I look at Calum and he looks back at me... expressionless.

"C-Calum what's going on?"-Raini

"Everything's gonna be fine..."-Calum

I breathe in and out as they stitch me up, they take me into another room and Calum stays by my side.

15 minutes later Dr Jensen comes in with a wheelchair.

"You can see your baby now..."-Dr Jensen

I can't walk as I've just had minor surgery so I sit in the wheelchair and Calum pushes me as Dr Jensen leads the way. When we get there our baby is in an incubator.

"Is it a girl or a boy?"-Calum

"A beautiful baby girl!"-Dr Jensen

I start crying as I see my baby girl hooked up to loads of wires with tubes up her nose, she is so tiny...

I wasn't allowed to hold her as it was dangerous and she wasn't strong enough. It was heartbreaking seeing her like that.

Please get better...
