Chapter 13

Ryder's POV

I pull Tristan aside as the others start making a plan.

"Listen... I need your help."- Ryder

"I'm listening..."-Tristan

After telling him the plan we rejoined the others and gathered information.

We managed to find out her address and her number.

Tristan & I made our way up to my room. We confirmed the plan an discussed it in detail before he went to his room.

I went to sleep with a lot on my mind.

I woke up to somebody nudging me.

"Ryder? Ryder!"- Nicole

"W-what do you want Nicole? It's 4 in the morning..."-Ryder

"I-I had a nightmare and I can't get back to sleep... I'm sorry for waking you up, I'll just go back to my room..."-Nicole

"U-uh I'm sorry, get it..."-Ryder

"Are you sure?"-Nicole

I pull the covers back and she gets in, Nicole & I have become really close lately... I've helped her through her pregnancy and whenever she has a nightmare she comes to me. We are literally best friend. Ever since we all ran away together. Besides we have grown up together and my mum delivered her.

"Wanna tell me about it?"-Ryder

"E-Elliot found out about the pregnancy and he flipped out. Then he killed everybody in this house... I-I was crying in the cupboard and he opened it and stabbed me in the stomach before killing me... it was horrible..."-Nicole

It may have been dark but I knew she was crying. I wiped away her tears.

"Hey, don't worry I'm here and I'm not going to let that happen!"-Ryder

"Promise?"-Nicole

"Pinky promise!"-Ryder

We crossed pinkies, I put my arm around her waist and she snuggled into my chest. Her bump was between us and I rubbed it. I sang to her until I heard light snores. I smile to myself before going to sleep.
