Chapter 16

Calum's POV

I stand in the doorway as Nicole watches the news. I can't help but feel guilty that she has to go through this. As a father I shouldn't have to feel like this. I want what's best for her. I walk up behind her as tears begin to fall. I put my arms round her and she sobs into my chest.

"Daddy... W-why are t-they doing this to me?"- Nicole

"They'll do anything to get a story honey, the best you can do is ignore it and deny it. Unless your ready to tell them?"-Calum

"I don't want them finding out... I'm never leaving the house again!"-Nicole

"It will all blow over soon, but for now just be careful, because getting stresses isn't good for the baby!"- Calum

She nods and soon she falls asleep on me. I remember when she used to do this as a kid. She was always a daddy's girl. I pick her up bridal style and carry her upstairs, I tuck her in bed and kiss her forehead before walking out and turning her light off. I walk downstairs and Raini hugs me.

"You are so good with her..."-Nicole

"They call me The Nicole Whisperer..." I said quoting my character 'Dez'.

"Your such a Goof Ball! But your my Goof Ball!" She says hitting me playfully in my stomach.

We kiss for a minute or 2 before we pull away breathless.

Everybody decides they want pizza for dinner so we order 6 Large Pizzas. There's 14 of us and 5 pregnant ladies. So we need a lot!

When the doorbell goes I grab my wallet and pay for the pizzas. Then a sleepy Nicole comes downstairs and when she sees the pizza she waked up fully. A huge smile plastered on her face. She walks into the dining room and Ryder pulls her onto his lap. I smile but at the same time confused. I let it slide because I was really hungry! We chat amongst ourselves during dinner and joke about. We all settle down in our home cinema and watch a film. Lorenzo, Riley & Reece fall asleep during the first 20 minutes. Raini is in my lap, Nicole is in Ryders, Rydel is in Ratliff's, Laura is in Ross's and Roxy & Tristan are just sitting next to each other, they are cousins so it'd be weird, right?

We all wake up in the cinema room, everybody complaining about bad backs and sore necks, then the girls puking, I can't believe we all slept here.

We all decide to go to IHOP for breakfast. Paparazzi swarm us and I can tell this is gonna be a long day...
