Note: This chapter is unedited but I'm certain you'll love it. Happy reading.
AS I STEP into the apartment, I can hear voices from the balcony. I can hear a female voice laughing and she sure sounds like Liam's sister.
Today has been a hell of a day if I must say. I have so many things I want to ask Liam and say to Liam but I guess it is not the right time.
With a huff, I tiptoe pass them, trying not attract any attention and approach the door to my room.
"Hey" The sexiest husky voice calls behind me and my hand freezes on the door knob. I turn around to see Liam folding his large arms on his chest.
His ocean blue eyes scanning every inch of me.
"Hi"
There is a sudden silence between us until Payson breaks it.
"I think I should leave you before things get more awkward." Payson says jokingly as she turns around and leaves for Liam's room. While I keep wondering what that was all about.
Liam closes the distance between us, stretching out his hand for me to take and I did. I feel a sudden spark rush through my veins as our hands connect and I feel like passing out in his arms right now. My heart is suddenly pounding like a thudding horse feet and it feels like it would explode any moment.
What the hell is wrong with me? What the fuck has he done to me?
I try to be calm as possible as he leads me out of the living room to the balcony before letting go of my hand.
He stares at me for a while and I stare back into his eyes, not blinking for a moment.
I feel lost in his ocean blue eyes as I strongly gaze at them.
He looks so perfect. He is perfect.
He looks like he also wants to say so many things but he couldn't. He finally tears his gaze from mine and clears his throat.
"Uhmm...I'm going to start from apologising on behalf of my mom. I'm sorry for whatever happened today" my eyes goes wide in disbelief. Is he actually apologising? Liam is apologising to me. I want to laugh but the moment is too awkward for me to even smile.
"It's fine. I'm really over that" I say, waving my hands nonchalantly.
"Thanks"
I pause for a moment to read his face. His forehead is a little tight even as he had a small smirk playing at the corner of his mouth. His shoulders are a bit stiff while holding on the the railings; he looks so lost.
"Are you okay?" I can't help but ask. After everything that happened today, I need to know how he felt.
He looks at me and smile. "Sure" he answers bluntly.
I guess a part of me is just worried for nothing. But I still need to know exactly what everything that happened is all about. I have a lot of questions to ask him and I feel it was the right moment to ask.
"So...are you going to tell me what's going on?" I ask with my lips twitching. I'm guessing he might refuse. I feel like I'm asking for too much.
He raises his brow at me before saying "No" Just like I've expected.
"Come on, I think you owe me that. You're staying in my apartment even though you have a beautiful house just like your mom said. I'm sure it's extremely awesome if this place looks like a fucking dump to your mom"
"Oh please." He rolls his eyes and I find myself laughing.
"Come on, tell me. We should know little things about each other since we stay together. I am so curious. Do you actually live with your mom?"
