Chapter 6

Talia POV

~4 Years Later~

"Ok. Are you ready? This is what we busted our asses off for 4 years." Catalina said while slipping on her silver heels.

I sighed and finished curling the last piece of my hair. Today is graduation day and surprisingly, I am graduating with high honors. I worked my ass off for all of this and it will finally pay off. 

"Yah I know. I am going to miss being your roommate though. We have been together since the first day of freshman year." I said pouting. She laughed and pulled me in to a side hug.

"It's alright chica. We are still going to be close. I honestly just can't wait to see my family." She said. I smiled and stood up, looking at my white thigh length dress and red pumps. I looked good.

"Same I guess." I said grabbing my cap and gown.

I invited everyone to my graduation. Yes even Jason. I have found it in my heart to forgive Jason but it will be a cold ass day in hell when I take him back. Anyways, I heard he is trying to work things out with his baby mama so...yah.

I and Dylan got so damn close. We have talked about being together and decided to wait until I am back in New Jersey. So we are together but not. We face time everyday and his son loves me.

I and Andre been chilling. We are still best friends and that won't change. He is going to be playing for the Boston Celtics after graduation. He got the offer when he was a sophomore but they said that the offer will still stand when he graduates. He is very lucky. I promised him I will be there for his first game.

"Let's go ladies. Today is the day that we can't wait for y'all/" Andre and Daniel said barging in to our room. I rolled my eyes and walked past Andre towards the door.

"It's like that ma?" He asked hugging my from behind. I smirked and turned around returning the hug.

"Always like that hun. Let's go. I refuse to be late to the best day of my life." I said. Cat grabbed her things and we all were out the door.

"Talia Smart." I heard my name being called. I took a deep breath and walked on to that stage with confidence and a huge smile. All I could here was my name being called. I accepted my diploma and walked back to my seat.

"I am so proud of you baby girl." Bone said walking up to my and giving me a great big hug. I smiled and happiness just filled me. There is not a better feeling than your parent telling you that they are proud of you.

"Thank you so much. I am so happy that everyone could make it." I said looking at everyone.

Chris, Jay, Zoey, Kamisha, Jason, his daughter Aliza (Ah-leez-a), Gabby, and Keisha.

"Auntie Auntie. Did you hear me yelling your name?" Kamisha asked me running up to me and hugging my legs. I laughed and picked her up.

"I sure did Mimi. Thank you." I said giving her a big kiss on her cheek

She was so big now. She was hella smart too. She could literally talk when she was like 2. Her hair got long and in tight curls too. She is lucky that she has two parents with good hair. She is still attached to Jay by the hip though.

"Aww, look at my little sister all grown up and graduated. I remember when I graduated. I was so happy to be out that bitch." Jay said giving me a hug, slightly picking me up from the ground.

"Boy, shut up. I told you about swearing in front of Kamisha. You know she literally repeats everything. Dumbass nigga." Zoey said smacking the back of Jay's neck.
