Chapter 15

Talia POV

I honestly thought that I would never have to hear that name ever again. That bitch and her family basically ruined my whole life. If I ever set eyes on her, I might just slap the shit out of her even though I'm not a fighter.

"Why do you have that look on your face?" I snapped out of it and fixed my face.

"Nothing, nothing. Uhm, I think in full now." I said, taking a sip from my water. He looked at me but then shrugged.

"You know, I'm gonna miss you when you leave." He said making me smile. Lord knows I'm gonna miss his fine ass.

"Same here. Call me when ever you want me down here. I'm always available." I said. He stood up and I did too. He walked over to me and pulled me in to a hug.

"Make a promise for me." I nodded and looked up in to his eyes.

"Don't be messy once you get back home. I know you are trying to get over everything but fucking someone isn't gonna do it. Just be smart with your decisions."

"I promise. You gonna make a promise too?" He nodded and I smiled.

"You focus on your career. I want you to be successful." I said. He gave me a tight hug and placed a quick kiss on my lips. I wish it lasted longer.

"Same to you."

I'm gonna have to get fitted for the dress that Gabby chose and that's a crazy amount of work.

I'm gonna start looking for work. I need my own money and use my degree like Andre said. I am hoping for somewhere in a hospital.

My doorbell rang and I lazily went to answer it. I smiled when I saw Zoey and my beautiful niece.

"Hey girl!" I said, hugging her and letting her in. I closed and locked the door.

"What is up? I heard you are back so I came to visit. How was the trip?" She asked, sitting down and sitting Mimi next to her.

"The trip was amazing. The game was great and we were court side so it was a special experience. I enjoyed Andre's company a lot. I miss him right now." I said. She just sat there smiling at me.

"I think someone likes Andre!"

"Shoot, I am not gonna deny it. I just got out of a relationship though. He knows that and doesn't even want to be with me right now but I know why. Like, I went to Boston ready to have sex with him because he has been trying since college. He totally turn me down! I was shocked."

"Awwww! He sounds like such a sweet man. I also think you shouldn't rush anything since you just got out a relationship. Just take it slow. It will be easier in a relationship because you guys have know each other for so long." She said as she gave Mimi a squeezable apple sauce thing.

"I guess. I mean I did love Dylan but he did me completely wrong so I'm done with him. I don't believe in second chances."

"Me neither girl. Why you think it took so long for me and your brother to get together? I let him have his fun and I told him that when he is serious, we can be in a relationship. I also threatened him but it worked." She had me laughing because I could just picture her short self threatening my brother.

"Y'all are so cute. Like the poster family for relationship goals."

"You already know girl!" She said and we both laughed. Mimi started laughing too.

We talked about a few other things but then Mimi started getting cranky so they left soon. Now it's just me, home alone. I think I should get a roommate or something.
