Chapter 16

Jay POV

"NO DADDY! NO!" Mimi yelled and screamed as tears ran down her face.

I am trying to leave and go to my pops house but my baby girl is literally being a baby even though she is damn near 4 years old. I was about to step my foot out and everything.

"STOP IT!" She screamed as she started to drag on my Adidas warm ups.

"Kamesha let your daddy leave." Zoey said, coming from the kitchen.

"No mommy! Go away!" This little girl is something else.

I bent down and wiped the tears off her face.

"Daddy." she mumbled.

"How about when I get home, we are going to go to Chuck E Cheese. Just you and me."

She nodded with her pouty lips. I smirked and kissed her cheek.

"She is so damn spoiled." Zoey said, shaking her head.

"Of course. She is my child. But I will be back baby." She kissed me and I head out.

"Pops!" I yelled as I walked in to his house.

"What?" He asked, coming from around the corner with a bag of chips in his hand.

"What did you need me to do?" I asked. I followed him in to his office and took a seat.

"Check up on traps and warehouses and drop these papers on my desk at the main warehouse." I hate errands.

"Damn. Aight."

"Your sister came and talked to me yesterday. That bitch as nigga Dylan thought it was aight to cheat on her." he said.

I leaned back in my chair and nodded my head. I already knew about this but it still posses me off. In my mind I was thinking about when I'm gonna find time to fuck his ass up. My face was straight though.

"But she said she was over it and I shouldn't do anything. I guess I'm gonna respect her wishes." That is very surprising.

"Yah, I told her that she should stay out of a relationship and focus on her."

"I agree. Well, I have to meet Gabby for cake testing. I hate this wedding shit." He said, making me chuckled.

"Aight boss."

Talia POV

"Where are you big brother?" I asked Jay as I laid down on my bed.

I got up and ready for the day this morning but remembered I have nothing to do.

"I'm doing errands for Bone. What you need?"

"I need company. Can I meet you somewhere?" I asked as I put on my all black converse.

"I'm gonna pick you up in 2 minutes. Be ready." He said, then hung up.

Shit, I'm already ready. I would chill with Keisha but I know she is always with Chris. Zoey is taking care of Mimi and Catalina doesn't live in New Jersey. Honestly, I need some girl time.

I miss Andre. Like a lot. We FaceTime and talk on the phone a lot but I still miss his presence. That weekend wasn't enough for me. But I know the next time I see him I want to be able to tell him I got a job and I'm doing good.

I heard a car honk and I grabbed my phone and purse. I left my house locking it behind me and got in to Jay's care. He pulled out my driveway once I was safely inside.

"We are gonna be hopping from place to place. Mostly in and out. I don't want to spend to much time." He explained. I nodded and he turned his music all the way up. The bass was making it hard to breath but I'm cool.
