Elias leads the way he knew this mission was very important, and if his team was to fail alot of civilians could be slaughtered. He was making sure he'd complete this mission no matter what He wasn't going to have civilians get slaughtered; because, of his team failing.
Elias knew his team wouldn't let him down and he wouldn't let them down, After all his years being in the shadow squadron he treated his squad members like brothers He never had before. They always hanged out, watched each others backs on the battlefield, and off the battlefield.
The team arrives, at a checkpoint where they see a small enemy platoon. "we got two hostiles carrying assault rifles 12:00." Elias looks at Jacob "can you tell me what they're doing?" Jacob nods "they're patrolling shall we take them out?"
"Hold your fire Jacob, we need to make sure there isn't more." Smith looks at the patrol "There is 3 more hostiles Sgt, Sitting next to a camp fire 3:00 there are 5 hostiles total two on patrol, and 3 next to a campfire looks like they aren't doing anything."
Elias nods "the best choice, would be if we take them out so we don't have to deal with them later what do you think rook?" Rook looks at Elias "I think you're right Sgt Mendes."
"Alright men, you heard rook let's do this." the squad splits up and finds cover weapons ready. "we're ready Sgt Mendes!" Elias nods, then aims his assault rifle "fire!" the squad fires, and takes out the enemies hearing dying noises from the enemies, and sounds of bodies falling.
"clear! lets hide the bodies, and proceed with the mission." the team gets the bodies hidden, and proceed with their mission.
"alright men, once we get through this checkpoint there's abound to be more enemies, remember once we find that nuke we'll need to capture it, and defend the area, until extraction arrives it's gonna be one hell of a ride!"
The squad looks at Elias "sir yes sir!" Elias nods "no matter what happens we stick together and work as a team." the squad looks at elias. "we're a team until the end." Elias smiles, then gets a call from the overlord "shadow squadron, we've got info from phantom squadron. The Pakistan leader mas-cismuchrt is inbound at location."
"what is he doing here in Gwadar sir?"
"we don't have info on his plan, but whatever it is let's make sure he doesn't carry on with it, he's arriving at location in a helicopter we need you to capture him its the only way we can finally put this war to rest."
