Elias, Brian, and Dan get off Elias' car and look around for what Dan called the racer's den "so what does this place look like Dan?" Dan looks at Elias "it, shouldn't be far just listen for any music." He nods, and begins to listen with his ears "they must really like to hide don't they?" Brian laughs "well, we are doing illegal races, so I don't blame them."

Elias suddenly jumps at the sound of a loud motor, and headlights flickering on. "Looks, like they found us." Brian laughs at Elias' reaction "ha-ha you got scared of an engine!" Elias growls "hey, shut up!" two cars with headlights and engines revving pull up towards them. Dan puts a paw on Elias' shoulder "they're challenging you little brother." Elias looks at Dan, and Brian "let's get in the car, and rev your engine this'll let them know you're accepting their challenge." Elias nods and steps into his car then revs his engine.

After he revs his engine a Sergal steps out of the car and speaks "so, you're the new Guy, Elias right?" Elias looks at the strange looking animal "yup that's me." The Sergal looks at Elias and puts on his hood "well, Elias follow us And don't fall behind." The Sergal walks back into his car and revs his engine Elias gets into his car quickly along with Brian and Dan "hmm I never seen his kind before."

Dan laughs "that man is a Northern Sergal Elias, he's quite a rare type of species no one really knows his story, or where he came from, but trust me that Sergal is quite a racer when it comes to racing he leads the racers so he's the main boss of the racer's den." Elias is surprised by what he hears "so, am I going to be racing him?"

"Not quite Elias, you're going to be racing some of his best racers, you see Elias this Sergal likes to make his races unfair so he can see where you stand on his ranking board if he sees you've got potential there's a chance you can pass this test." Elias nods "so, I need to keep this race close?" he puts his car in drive and follows behind the Sergal who stops next to a red light and flashes his lights. Elias looks at Dan "umm, what's he doing?" Dan recognizes this action "well, I'll be damned Elias, get ready for a race." Elias is shocked by this news "o...ok, d...Dan" Dan places a paw on his shoulder.

"hey, don't worry Elias just relax I know it's your first time, but don't let it hold you back. I know you can do this Elias." Elias takes a deep breath and drives up to the two cars, and parks. After parking the Sergal rolls down his window and signals Elias to do the same, after windows are rolled the Sergal speaks "how's about we do a warm up new guy, from this light to the 3rd stop sign ahead, see what you got?"

"ok then lets do this." The Sergal smiles "once that light turns green, we're taking off." they roll up their windows and Elias gets his car ready and revs up the engine as he keeps an eye on the stoplight "you, got this Elias keep on warming up the car." He then hears the two other cars rev their engines. Suddenly Elias sees the light turn green and floors the gas pedal.

As soon as he steps on the gas all 3 of them are neck to neck, making Elias feel a bit worried about losing control of his car. He focuses on the road In front of him and suddenly overtakes the Sergal's partner. Elias sees the leader of the racers still ahead of him, he shifts to another gear as fast as he can. After shifting he feels his car speed up a bit and notices his speedometer pick up. "you got this Elias." Dan smiles at his brother "it's still just a warm up?"

Elias shifts to another gear and begins to get almost rear wheel length to the leader. The Sergal smiles as he notices Elias is close to catching up to him and thinks to himself "for a beginner he really does know how to race." They reach the final light and the leader drifts and comes to a stop, the tires screeching loudly as he drifts and comes to a stop.
