Broken Bond Ch.5/ Pg. 3

(9:30 a.m  Dan's house )

Dan chases Tommy trying to catch him for taking his phone "Tommy you little rascal give me my phone, or I'll take away all your video games!",  Liz laughs at the scene, and puts a bow on Tina's ear "whose my pretty girl?" 

Tina smiles "I am!"  Liz hugs her "yes you are sweetheart!"Tina looks at Liz's stomach "mom why is your belly like that" she points to her belly. "ohh sweetheart, my stomach is like this because mommy is pregnant." Tina gasps at what Liz said "what does that mean mommy?"  Liz pats her head "it means, you're going to have another sibling to play with sweetie!" 

"really mommy?" Liz nods "yes sweetheart you, and Tommy are gonna help mommy take care of him/her." Tina looks at Liz "but, I'm too young to take care of a baby mommy!" 

" that's why I'm going to teach you sweetie!" She gives Tina a kiss on her nose, making her purr adorably. "OK, mommy I'll help with the baby!" 

While Tina purrs, Liz hears someone knocking on the door "That's probably your daddy's brother come on Tina let's go open the door for your uncle!" Tina makes a happy yip "yay uncle Elias!" Liz looks  through the peek hole and sees Elias knocking on the door "yup it's your uncle"  Liz opens the door for Elias, so he can walk in "good morning you two!" Tina hugs Elias's leg "good morning uncle Elias!" 

Elias laughs as he sees Tina hugging his leg "good morning little princess!" Liz smiles "wow she likes you and you've only been here for two days!" Elias smiles, and picks up Tina "is that true Tina?" Tina hugs Elias and purrs "I'll take that as a yes!" Liz smiles "if you're looking for Dan he's getting his phone back from Tommy, but if you aren't would you like to take me and Tina to Wal-Mart, so we can get groceries for the house?"

 Elias nods "sure I don't mind Liz."  Liz smiles "oh thank you so much I would tell Dan, but he told me to tell you; because, he has some work to do at 12:35 p.m today!"

"hey I'll do anything to help out my brother's family" Liz hugs Elias "don't be afraid to call us your family Elias" Elias gasps "I'm not" He tries to hide his fear. Dan finally catches Tommy and Walks into the living room he then see's Elias being hugged by Tina and Liz. "Elias, Liz is right don't be afraid to call all of us here your family we are one big happy family together, we stick together no matter what.

Elias looks at Dan " I know, why you act like this Elias, I'm your brother for goodness sakes we grew up together, we lost our parents together, we did everything together, so I know you more then anyone else does!" Elias looks at dan "you're right Dan you do know me more then anyone else, but for how long has it been since we last seen each other, oh yeah around 5 years when I was in the military, and you were back in NY gambling!"

Dan growls " yes i gamble, but that doesn't make  any difference, I mean look at me now I'm fuckin rich I've got two beautiful children, and we have a third child coming!" Elias looks at Liz and Dan in surprise "oh my you do, wow congratulations you two" Dan smiles "Elias, i also have a beautiful women who makes me complete." Dan, kisses Liz romantically then turns to Elias "Elias, I want to talk to you, please come speak with me on my porch."

"ok Dan,  let's go to your porch."elias puts Tina down, and walks with Dan out to the porch and sits on a bench "please take a seat brother." Elias does what Dan say's "so what do you want to tell me?"

"Elias I've been keeping a secret from you I haven't told you this; because, I'm scared you might hate me after this, and take off." Elias looks at Dan, and pats his back "Dan I don't care how bad it is, I'm your brother, and we stick together."

"Elias I moved here to L.A. for a reason I wanted to start a new life, just like how you went to the military."

"yeah, but I didn't just go to start a new life I joined the military to fight for the country we live in, and to have a reason in life!" Dan sighs "I know Elias, but that's not the point here my life  in Los Angeles is not what it seems."

"what do you mean Dan?!"

"Elias I have the life of a mobster!" Elias looks at Dan in shock "w...what y...you're a gangster, a criminal, i...can't...believe you!" Elias  stands up, and clenches his hands to fist "so it was you wasn't it,  back at the Avalon club you sent some of your gang members to the club to kill those innocent people, and steal from the bartender!" 

"what No! Elias I would never mess up a date like that, I love you little brother, I would never hurt you, the reason why I wanted you to come visit me is because..."

"because, what Dan?" Dan sighs "Elias I..I..need your help, me, and my gang are at war against a rival gang!" he droops his ears In sadness. "Dan...I...I can't do that I'm not a criminal, nor am I a gangster.." Dan cuts him off  "b..but Elias my family's  in danger!" Elias looks at Dan, and droops his ears "I..I'm sorry Dan.."

Dan cuts him off again "you even promised my family that you'd do anything to help us out this is your chance to prove it!"

(meanwhile on the roof of a building)

Jacob Blightly gets his backpack off his back, and takes out pieces of a concealable sniper rifle, and begins to assemble it quickly while he has the chance to get his target.
