Elias looks around the room in surprise and notices there are at least some of Dan’s crew members. Elias notices they’re wearing suits and are sitting By a table. Dan looks at Elias “lets have a seat.” Elias nods “ok!” They both go and take a seat on chairs . Elias feels a paw grab his hand “pleasure to see you again Elias.” Elias remembers the voice and looks up “victor?” he laughs “I told you we’d meet again Elias.”
Elias smiles “and you were right.” Victor takes a seat and smiles then Dan takes a seat in front of everyone with Brian to his left side and a weasel to his right side. “Elias my brother it’s time I tell you why you’re really here.” Elias looks at Dan “I’m ready to hear it Dan.” Dan smiles “that’s great Elias.” Dan clears his throat “alright everyone please welcome my brother, and our new member Elias.”
Victor smiles and grabs Elias’ paw “ Elias, welcome to the wolves of the fallen, sworn enemies to your former friend’s crew. The wolves of the damned.” Elias is surprised by this welcome “Wait a minute, how do you know about my friend?” Victor notices Elias’ reaction “oh, your brother told me about him.” Elias looks at victor “really victor? ” he goes back to his seat and smiles “of course Elias.”
Elias scratches his head and smiles showing his pearly whites. “don't worry Elias, we’re safe here and get along just fine.” Dan puts a paw on Elias’s back. “you’re not a full fledged wolf of the fallen just yet Elias.”
“really Dan, but I thought I was?” Elias hears his brother chuckle “what’s, so funny Dan?” Dan looks at Elias “before we completely accept you for our crew, you’ve got to race.” Elias' eyes widen “are you serious?!” he raises his voice “I can’t….” Dan covers Elias' mouth with his paw and whispers in his ear .
“Don’t you ever say what you can, and can’t do Elias these guys will do anything to take a new member out without notice.” Elias nods his head after hearing his brother then takes Dan’s paw off his muzzle “is that all I need to do?” Dan shakes his head in a no movement “you also need to fight, shoot, and drink like us.” Elias looks at Dan “damn that’s a lot of tests.” Dan nods “did you think it would be easy?”
“well yeah you are my brother I thought you’d just let me in quickly?” Dan laughs “Elias, we may be brothers out of the crew, but when it comes to my crew I’m your boss and you do what I say!” Elias sighs annoyed “fine, I’ll do your stupid tests, but don’t forget I’m still your brother and I can embarrass you in front of everyone here.” Dan laughs “follow me Elias the first test begins now.”
(Downtown Los Angeles)
Jacob parks the car and gets off with Rylee “so, this is the place Jacob why’d you bring me here anyway?” Jacob smiles and grabs Rylee’s hand “I’ll tell you when we get to the top.” Rylee giggles “ok, Jacob let’s go.” Jacob smiles and walks with Rylee to the building entrance.
Once they get in the building a lady greets them and points them at the direction of the elevator so they could go up. “Jacob are you going to tell me when we’re up there?” he nods and smiles then the elevator doors open and a well dressed employee greets them and tells them to join him in the elevator.
“welcome to the Oue sky space we’re going 1,000 ft. above Los Angeles as we go up you’ll have a beautiful view of L.A as we ascend to our destination.” Jacob and Rylee smile as they hear everyone else cheer happily as the elevator begins to move feeling as if they were on a carnival ride slowly ascending to its destination.
Jacob’s phone vibrates and he takes it out of his pocket to check. As he checks he notices he has a message from an unknown number reading “enjoy your night out while you can, when I get my paws on you this will be the last night you’ll ever see.”
Jacob makes a low growl then answers the text “think you’ve got the guts to face me, I’ll take you out just like I did to your family in cold blood.” Jacob smirks and waits for his phone to vibrate again, it doesn’t take long until his phone vibrates again but this time the elevator stops at the destination and the door opens.
