“aww, Tina I’ve been busy around Los Angeles.” Tina purrs softly “really, uncle Elias?” he nods “when you grow older you won’t have as much free time.” Tina nods “I know uncle Elias mommy told me all about how she deals with grown up things.” Elias smiles and boops her nose cutely making Tina giggle adorably.
“ah, not my nose uncle Elias it’s too sensitive to boops.” She hops off Elias and runs behind Liz and hides. “Mommy protect me from uncle Elias!” Liz giggles then boops Tina’s nose with her tail “mommy, no!” Tina runs and goes to hide “oh, Tina mommy is going to get you along with her two partners.”
Elias and Joy join in on the little game and pretend to act like ghost as they chase Tina and Tommy around the hotel room. While they chase the kids, Elias’ phone rings and he answers it “hello, this is Elias.” He then hears Dan speak “Elias, where are you at so we can get together?”
“we’re at a motel Dan. Me, Joy, Liz and The kids together.” Dan speaks in a cheerful tone “That’s, Great can you put my beautiful fiancée on the phone please.” Elias nods “Sure, brother.” Elias calls over Liz and gives her his phone “it’s Dan he wants to talk to you.”
She quickly grabs the phone and speaks “oh Honey I’m so worried where are you?” she then hears Dan speak “thank goodness you’re safe, Liz I’m downtown can you give me directions to where the motel is?” Liz giggles “sure baby I’ll be happy to tell you.” She wags her tail and begins talking to Dan all about the motel’s location for about 25 minutes then stops and listens to Dan “thank you babe I can’t wait to see you and the others.”
Liz giggles “I can’t wait either Dan, want to talk to Elias again I’m playing with the kids?” Dan laughs “sure Hun' put him back on the line.” Liz smiles and gives Elias his phone “Elias I have some bad news to tell you.”
( air star’s Car )
Dan clenches Brian’s burnt dog tags in his paw and takes a deep breath “the house is gone all of it, ugh my hard work is gone the house no longer exists, I don’t know what to do anymore.” Elias gasps “we’ll get through this Dan I promise you, just get here to the hotel we can talk about it more.”
Dan sighs softly “ok, Elias I’ll see you at the hotel.” They both hang up and air star looks at Dan “why, didn’t you tell him about your friend?” he looks back at her “he needs to see these in person and must learn to be strong, even in deaths of our allies, he mustn’t show weakness.”
“ that’s quite harsh don’t you think Dan?” Dan nods “It may be harsh but it’s the only way Elias will learn that our cause isn’t a lie.” Air star nods “whatever you say Dan.” She turns left “now keep going straight and then turn right at the second stop sign.” Air star nods “ok, Dan thanks for telling me.” Dan chuckles “would you like to meet my family Air star?” Air star thinks for a while “will your fiancée get mad if she see’s you with another girl?” Dan laughs “air star, Liz knows I love her she shouldn’t get jealous of you, plus Liz is quite friendly with others.”
Air Star sighs softly “ok, I’ll get off with you, but if your fiancée does anything you can say goodbye to my partnership.” Dan nods “ok, Air Star, I understand.” He looks out the window and sighs softly “I can’t believe Brian is gone, I just can’t believe it my best friend is dead , my house is burned down, what am I going to do air star?” air star stops on the side of the road “fight Dan, fight for what’s yours don’t let this tragedy keep you down, stand up and start from scratch make it better than what it used to be.”
Dan, looks at air star “but that’ll take me forever.” Air star places a paw on his shoulder “Dan, you’ve got your family and a crew you can do anything, you just need the motivation to start building up from scratch, we all have those hard times, but we can make it through them and can get rewarded for our hard work.”
Dan looks at air star “you really think so?” air star giggles “Dan, when you have a team you can trust and family that is willing to help out, you can all make it happen.” Dan and air star make eye contact for a few minutes and smile at each other.
“Dan, don’t let anyone and I mean anyone, kill your vibe you can get through this and I’ll be there to help you, and everyone else in your family fight this menace of L.A.” Dan and air star accidentally touch noses and keep them together for a few seconds then quickly back away.
“Ah, I’m so sorry air star I didn’t mean to…” air star chuckles “it was my fault I didn’t think our noses would bump into each other like that.” Dan laughs “it was both our faults, let’s just get to the motel.” Air star nods and gets back on the road.
